The college has Department of Physical Education plays a pivotal role in the educative process going on in the various Departments of the EGIs. Every care is taken to provide the best infrastructural facilities for physical education through sports and games such as Shuttle Badminton (16 Indoor Courts), Basket Ball (4 Cemented and Floodlit Courts), volleyball (3 Courts), Football (2 Pitches), Cricket (2 Pitches), and many more made to International Standards.

The college has Gymnasiums with a total of 42 Stations provided in both Boys’ and Girls’ Hostels to ensure the physical fitness of our students and also to alleviate their stress.

The college has the Canteen and Cafeteria located at vantage points within the campus to help the hostel students as well as the day scholars purchase their emergency stationery items, soft drinks, and snacks. ‘The Food Court’ that serves international cuisines – vegetarian as well as non-vegetarian – is a treat for the palate of everyone.

The college has a Spacious and Luxurious Guest House named ‘The Welcome Block’ close to the Main Entrance where the parents and relatives of the students can stay with all comforts during their visits to their wards in the various Institutions of the Excel Group. The visiting professors and guest faculty are also accommodated here during the days of their duty.

The college has a well-equipped Clinic with a Doctor at fixed hours and nursing service round the clock. There is also a full-fledged Hospital with 200 Beds with all wellness services. There is also an Ambulance Service that offers 24-hour Service to anyone in need within the Campus.

There is an additional ATM adjacent to the Main Gate of the Excel Group Institutions, to the right side, that helps to avoid the rush or having to wait in a queue.

The college has All the roads in the vast and spread-out Campus of EGIs have been macadamized and tarred, and each and every Block of the building has been provided with Parking Lots for Two-wheelers as well as four-wheelers.

The college has stationery as well as the store items needed by the students within easy reach and they can make photocopies of study materials at rationalized rates. The Store is stuffed with all the items they stand in need of and they do not have the need to approach the shops outside the campus.

The college has a fleet of 59 buses and has been inducted into operation. Public Transport is also convenient and frequent as the Main Gate of the EGIs is beside the National Highway-544 between Salem and Coimbatore.

The college has a Placement activity that starts at the beginning of every academic year.
