Faculty of Law DU Admission Process

Faculty of Law, University of Delhi provides admissions to LLB., LLM., and PhD law programmes. The candidate must meet the Faculty of Law eligibility criteria to apply for the courses. The Faculty of Law DU selection process for LLB programmes is through the LLB Entrance Test. CLAT scores are accepted for the BA LLB and BBA LLB programmes.

  • In order to get admission the candidate must meet the Faculty of Law Ph.D. eligibility criteria.

  • The candidate must qualify for the PhD entrance examination conducted by the University.

  • The shortlisted candidates should then appear for the interview, which may be held twice a year or more.

  • Candidates who have passed the UGC-NET (including JRF), UGC-CSIR NET (including JRF), DBT-JRF, ICMR-JRF, DST-INSPIRE, or equivalent national level examinations or fellowships (as determined by the DRC) or GATE (including teacher fellowship holders), as well as teachers employed by the University of Delhi, are eligible to attend the interview, provided they have first registered on the PhD. when will du llb classes will start

As per the calendar of 2023-2024, the semester one classes for the batches started from November 20. The end of semester classes, preparatory leave and practical exams will take place from March 8 to 15, 2024.

For the second semester, classes will begin on April 1. The end of classes, preparatory leave and practical exams will be from July 21 to 28.

Semester 2 theory exams of all these subjects will be held from July 29 to August 11.
