The college has all the basic facilities but does not have any smart boards or any other similar equipment. The classrooms are spacious but are not very well maintained. The washrooms are not at all hygienic and drinking water is of poor quality.
The quality of teaching is fine but the curriculum does not include all the basic developments related to law. Moreover the 2025 batch only has a 3 month long semester, so the professors hardly get enough time to complete the syllabus let alone teaching in depth.
There is no placement cell as such in the Law Faculty and even if there is, it is non-functional. The students have to look for internships on their own and there is guidance provided regarding internships or placement.
The fees per year is only around 5k for a year so there are no expectations as such regarding academics or infrastructure.
The Law faculty campus is not that huge but since it’s situated in North Campus of Delhi University, one can enjoy Campus life.
It has good infrastructure if compared to clc. Most classes don’t have AC but otherwise the building is clean. Washrooms are sometimes not very clean but they do pay heed to these things if you complain. It lacks sports areas or fields as such. There is a little greenery. The canteen has food at very cheap prices but the taste and quality isn’t very good for most items. There are no smartboards or tech savvy infrastructure as such but the condition is improving. Wifi isn’t operative in most area
What i like about the course here is that its very practical or problem based as they teach through real life cases which help in better understanding of concepts. They have pretty good teachers apart from a few. Though classes might not be very regular at times. So this traditional method of reading cases is very helpful for those who wish to practice in litigation or for a career in judiciary. Some teachers are exceptionally good and quite popular as well. The only problem is regularity in it.
There is no placement cell of its own. Th college doesn’t focus on the corporate jobs as such. No companies come for placements. The students wishing for placements generally opt for central placement cell for du where there are some opportunities.
It’s a new building is located in north campus of Delhi university and infrastructure is pretty good. It has furnished classrooms and halls. They even have a basement to park your vehicles in. It's surrounded by top colleges like Hindu, Miranda house, Ramjas
Faculty is amazing and most of the judges are from DU only, it speaks for itself. Plus they teach you through case materials, it’s practical and theoretical at the same time. They got moot courts and many other societies too.
I haven’t gone through that procedure yet but acc to what I have heard it's average. At the end of the day, it's up to us only, internships matter. Most of the students here are preparing for UPSC or Judicial services
The course doesn't cost much, it's a central university after all. The quality of education you get in such amount is inexplicable. It's around 5K per year which is very less in comparison to other universities.
It’s located in north campus, so life is pretty exuberant as I've heard. There are many clubs and societies for students to join. Teachers and staff are very amicable. Overall it gives you that college experience you seek
If you wanna opt for 3 yr LLB, there’s no better place. Delhi University law is well known and it's not that easy to get in. You have to work hard. But once you get in, you'd appreciate it. All the best
