The number of approved students in Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing programme is 30. GNM or an equivalent degree in nursing should be completed for the eligibility of the students. The Gandhi College and School of Nursing admission procedure requires candidates to have completed at least eleven months of the course. A minimum of 80% attendance in theory and practical/clinical in each subject is essential for appearing in the examination. 100% attendance in practical/clinical in each clinical area is required before awarding the degree. Candidates must secure 50% of minimum marks in each theory and practical paper separately to pass, and a minimum of 33% in qualifying subjects.
Intake of students approved for GNM programme is 40. Candidate must have done at least eleven months of course for state Council/Board examination. For every subject, the candidates should have maintained at least 80% attendance in theory and practical. Candidate should have got at least 50% marks in internal assessment separately for theory and practical. Record of practical experience must be complete.
Auxiliary Nurse Midwifery programme has an intake approved at 30 students. The minimum age for Gandhi College and School of Nursing admission is 17 years, and there is a maximum age limit of 30 years. Candidates must have passed 12 years of schooling (10+2) recognised by CBSE/ICSE/SSSCE/HSCE or an equivalent examination.
Students should carry all the above-mentioned documents at the time of admission.
