Geeta Institute of Management and Technology, Kurukshetra offers a range of facilities which include well-furnished boys and girls hostels, a medical dispensary and a fully equipped gym. GIMT Kurukshetra facilities also include a library with a book bank, extensive sports amenities, advanced IT infrastructure, and a cafeteria. Boys Hostel
GIMT Kurukshetra offers a boys hostel on campus, with each room accommodating three students. Each room includes an attached toilet and bathroom, a bed with a mattress, a study table with a chair, and an almirah. The hostel provides desert coolers and water coolers in summer, and hot water in winter, without extra charges.
Girls Hostel
GIMT Kurukshetra has a well-furnished girls hostel with double and triple occupancy rooms. Each room includes a bed with a mattress, a study table with a chair, and an almirah. Similar to the boys' hostel, it offers desert coolers and water coolers in summer, and hot water in winter at no extra cost.
Medical/Hospital

College Infrastructure

The college infrastructure is poorly maintained. Half of the classroom desks are broken. The campus has not much facilities for the students. The classrooms are decent. Though, the labs are good. There is no AC in the classrooms. The campus garden is good and has a good seating capacity. The good point about the college is that the campus is clean.

Worst college on the verge of getting shut.

Dear aspirant,

Girjinanda chowdhury institute of management and technology, guhawati offers admission to undergraduate , postgraduate and doctoral programmes. The institute offers admission to B.tech, B.sc,BBA, M.CA,Mtech.

The admission in the btech programme is done by Assam cee and jee mains . The counselling is held in the premises of azara.

As per my view the engineering branch is not a very good one in this college. The placements for the ece branch is not a good one.

which college are you aiming for ?

Even for distance edu, qualifying exam for MBA is important, you can most certainly give it

as there is no age limit for that

You should let me know what exactly have you planned, so that I can guide you further

Symbiosis has many distance education programmes for the same so does MANIPAL university with good repute and placement capability

sir which institute is best for b.tech between kaziranga and GIMT in assam?

Yes ! Very good question. I appreciate your sense of humor by the way. Well, the answer is Kaziranga University(KU) much better any day. Because:

1. KU admits students on the basis of CEE examination which has a selection ratio of 2% (420/22000 * 100%). On the other hand AEC has no such procedure, whoever applies gets admitted.

2. Here comes the fees. tuition fees per semester in KU is << 10,000 rupees. On the other hand you pay 50–60k rupees (or more I am not sure) if you study in AEC.

3. KU has completed its golden jubilee. But AEC is a baby institution.

4. Jorhat is a good & larger city compared to Guwahati.

5. KU has got reasonable placements, some PSUs also visit KU. on the other hand AEC guys may hardly know what placement is.

Do you need any more ?

P.S. : The answer to the question is obvious, that we all know. It was just a sarcastic approach to a irking question. Please don’t say that I am giving wrong info..
