The infrastructure seems nice and the college has a very good front view. There are two separate blocks for engineering and architecture students. But there is no facility of air conditioner available. The classes are designed well with a green board of sufficient size there is sitting space for almost 60 students in a class. Overall it is ok to get a study environment. The college has set up jio wifi through which the students can have good internet speeds. Hostel facilities are ok..
I m studying b.tech from cse branch and the concerned faculty is good..except for 1 or 2 subjects the lectures taken by the faculties are worth it. They are friendly with the students too and will help you resolve your problems related to study. The management is not too good (the office) as it sometimes seems like a government office where the work keeps on delaying. The library contains only study related books in which maximum of the books are very old published. Overall it is just ok.
The quality of placements is very good. The college take the students to the noida gl bajaj campus for placements where the students get placements on good packages. The highest package was 12 lakhs and the average one is 4 lakh. Almost every deserving candidate gets the job. The companies aur also well known and the students can also get higher job opportunities further.
The cost for b.tech cse every year is almost 1 lakh including bus facility..and at the time of new admission its 1.25 lakhs. I think i get a little less for what i can say is worth of money...but overall its not that bad too..at the end you get things in such a way that u can't regret it then.
The campus life is good. The campus is not too big so that u can spend your free time there. Its only as big as it seems from front. Although the college organize some events in which you can participate which is really good. U will get good friends and the teachers are friendly too. The college campus has kd hospital with its boundary so there will be no problems in case of any emergency. The college and kd hospital together are merging to form kd university.
Overall its ok. U can spend your time if you have good friends there. One thing i want to add is the canteen should be improved as it is very poorly maintained.
The infrastructure is one of the weakest parts of the college. The labs are equipped with years old Computers with slow or even no Internet connection. The College is Wifi equipped for namesake only as it never works properly. The classrooms are worse, with broken chairs. There is not even a single staircase classroom. Labs are just as bad. Hostel rooms are small two-seaters. Mess food is just ok. The wifi works a little better but is still bad. Libraries have zero new books or magazines.
I am currently pursuing B. Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering. I chose this course as I was interested in ML and AI. Most of the teachers want you to cramp up the books and notes. Since the college is affiliated to AKTU, the course is just as bad. However, some teachers are good and try to teach all the basics and encourage us to hone our skills. The curriculum doesn't make us job-ready and you would need to take different courses and training as per your interest.
The placement is the only good thing about the college. We are taken to Noida campus for placements and since it has a good placement record, we get tons of good companies coming for recruitments. about 70-80% of students have been placed from the 2020 batch as of now. The highest package is 7.6L and the average package is between 2.5 to 3L. However, I have heard rumors about discrimination against students of Noida and Mathura campus and don't know how much of it is true.
The fee is about 1.1L per year. It seems pretty low for B. Tech. but with the lack of facilities, it is pretty average. However, If you are here just to cram up and top the University and nothing else, then this college is for you but don't expect good teaching.
This is one of the worst college life you could get. The only fun we have in Freshers party in the first and second year and farewell in the third and fourth year. There is no annual fest(There hasn't been since 2015 according to my seniors). They tried to organize sports fest this year but they don't even have proper ground and equipment. Sadly, they don't even know the rules of most of the games. Also, there are almost no workshops and activities for CSE students.
I chose this college because I failed in most of the entrance examinations.I chose not to take a drop and take up coaching for JEE which was obviously the wrong choice. Don't be me and take coaching or if you don't want to drop one year, go for good colleges like CGC etc,(with average fee and excellent placement record and campus life)
