Gland Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences Medak, or GIPS as it is popularly referred to, a well-positioned locality of a pharmaceutical educational institution at Kothapet Village, very close to Narsapur, Medak, Telangana. Approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), this institution caters specialized pharmacy courses in more than three acres of campus area. The admission criteria maintained by the institute are within the approval of the rest like AICTE, PCI, and JNTUH. Any candidate wanting to get into GIPS must meet the eligibility criteria for respective programs, which usually include merit-based admissions depending on the percentages secured in relevant subjects and qualifying entrance examinations.
Application Process

2. Choose the desired course (i.e. either B.Pharma or M.Pharma) and proceed to fill the application form with all the necessary personal and educational details.

5. Through this application form, it can be filled and submitted, a printout to be taken for reference in the future.
6. Counseling or interviews may be organized for specific students based on the programs sought and seats.
7. The selected candidates will carry out the admissions formalities such as document verification and payment of fees during the stipulated time.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The flagship Bachelor of Pharmacy program at GIPS has a sanctioned intake of 100 students. Admission to the B.Pharma course is granted by merit in the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) with compulsory subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Candidates have to appear for either state-level or national-level entrance examination depending on the norms prevailing at that time for admission.
M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis: This postgraduate program has a sanctioned intake of 15 students. Interested candidates must have done their B.Pharma from a recognized institution and usually the admission committee will consider the academic merit and the results of the entrance examination, e.g. GPAT (Graduate Pharmacy Aptitude Test).
M.Pharma Pharmaceutics: Like Pharmaceutical analysis program, M.Pharm in Pharmaceutics entries have an intake of 15 students. Similar to that, eligibility is B.Pharm from a recognized university. Admission may depend upon the academic record of the candidate and performance in the entrance examination for postgraduate studies.
