Goa Medical College Admissions 2024: The college offers admissions in a number of programmes at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral levels. Candidates seeking admission to the college must meet the eligibility criteria. Goa Medical College Application Process 2024

Goa Medical College UG Admissions 2024

The courses offered at the undergraduate level are the MBBS, B.Sc, BOT, BPT and B.Optom programmes. GMC Panaji MBBS admissions are based on the relevant scores in the NEET-UG examination. To fulfil GMC MBBS eligibility criteria, the student must have passed 10+2 or equivalent in Physics, Biology and Chemistry with English as one of the subjects with not less than 50% marks (for OBC/SC/ST - 40% marks).

Goa Medical College MBBS Admission Procedure 2024

After meeting the GMC MBBS eligibility criteria, eligible candidates must take and pass the NEET exam with valid scores.
Students should then apply for NEET counselling based on their qualifying marks.
The authorities will prepare a merit list to shortlist the candidates on the basis of NEET UG scores.
Candidates must choose GMC Panaji as their first choice when filling out the NEET counselling form.
Once selected, students must get their documents verified by the college and pay the course fees.
Final admission will be based on the marks secured, participation in the counselling process, seat allotment, document verification and fee payment.

Goa Medical College PG Admissions 2024

The college enrols students in 28 postgraduate courses. GMC Panaji PG courses cover the MD (Doctor of Medicine) programme in 15 specialities, the MS (Master of Surgery) programme in 5 specialities and the Post Graduate Diploma in 8 disciplines. Candidates must have an MBBS or equivalent degree with relevant marks recognised by the National Medical Commission and must take the NEET-PG exam to apply for admission to the college.

Congratulations for your marks ! For NEET admission the cutoff is generally around the below mentioned scheme.

General50720-147

Physically Handicapped - 146-129

SC/ST/OBC - 146-113

SC/ST/OBC Physically hadicapped -128-113

As you have mentioned that you belong to sc category and have scored 300, the possibility to get a government college under All India quota is difficult however you can try under the state quota of telengana (the cutoff is a bit higher in state quota) . You can also try in deeemed universities with this score.
