The institution maintains a wide scale of admission process for undergraduate and postgraduate programs in pharmacy. This college is affiliated to the Pharmacy Council of India and offers merit based admission, which aligns with the state-level entrance examinations.
Normally, the admission starts with the proclamation of birth for any state-level entrance examinations that are proficient for AP EAMCET for undergraduates and AP PGECET for postgraduates.
In the B.Pharma program, the basic eligibility criteria are that candidates should have passed 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects. 4. Prefer Gokul College of Pharmacy and the B.Pharma programme during counselling.
5. If a seat is allocated, one should report to college for document verification and admission formalities.
For M.Pharma programs :
1. Register and appear for the AP PGECET examination.
2. Qualify in AP PGECET with a valid score.
3. Take part in the centralized counselling process for PG admissions.
4. Prefer Gokul College of Pharmacy and the desired M.Pharma specialization during counselling.
5. If a seat is allocated, one should continue the admission process at the college.
Degree-wise Admission Process
B.Pharma: The eligibility of applicants for the B.Pharma program at Gokul College of Pharmacy primarily rests on performance in AP EAMCET. It has 100 seats for this four-year undergraduate course. The requirement is completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as subjects.
M.Pharma: Gokul College of Pharmacy has three M.Pharm specializations, namely Pharmaceutics, Pharmaceutical Analysis, and Industrial Pharmacy. Each specialization admits 15 students. They will be admitted based on their scores in the AP PGECET. The candidates must have pursued a B.Pharm as the minimum educational qualification. The selection process may revolve around the score acquired through the entrance test as well as possible additional college-specific criteria.
