Gourishankar Education Society's GES College of Pharmacy D Pharm, Satara Admission Process
Gourishankar Education Society's GES College of Pharmacy (D. Pharm), Satara is one of the leading institutes in pharmaceutical education. It conducts a Diploma in Pharmacy (D. Pharma) course. It is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI), thereby ensuring quality pharmacy education.
GES College of Pharmacy admits students purely on a merit basis with consideration to the performance of the candidate in the concerned subjects. It admits 60 students every year in its D.Pharma course in small classes for quality education and attention to every student.
In pharmacy colleges, in most institutes, it is taken based on marks acquired in the qualifying exam 10+2. Along with that, marks are also taken based on subjects that are being sought for the qualification required.
Application Process

5. Merit List Preparation: Based on the marks scored by applicants in the qualifying examination, a merit list is prepared by the college.
6. Counselling and Admission: Candidates coming under the merit list are given an opportunity of counseling where the student can exercise seat preference according to his merit rank secured. Finally, admission takes place after getting their documents verified and payment of required fees.

Degree-wise Admission Procedure
D.Pharma is one of the flag courses offered at GES College of Pharmacy. This is a full-time course for two years, which shall help the students build comprehensive knowledge and skills in the pharmaceutical sciences. Annual intake is permitted at 60. Admission in D.Pharma course is purely merit-based considering the performance at 10+2 or its equivalent examination in view of specific subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Biology / Mathematics.
