Orissa School of Mining Engineering is situated in Kendujhar in Odisha. Established in 1956 It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology. Admission to 3 year Diploma course is made through Diploma Entrance Test. The The admission dates for Diploma courses has not been released yet. there is nothing mention like distance course for Diploma in mining engineering in Orissa School of Mining Engineering.

I think if you dont have any monetary issues, you could perhaps continue with CSE at KIIT. KIIT University has good infrastructure, faculty, research and laboratory facilities besides having an excellent employer outlook.

Some of which include Vedanta, IMFA, Thriving Earth Movers and the average salary is about 4 lakh per annum and only 10% of the students get placed every year.All the best!

For admission in this collegee, here is the eligibility requirements.

For admission to the 1st semester Diploma courses, you should have passed/ appeared in 10th class examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education, Orissa or its equivalent are eligible to appear the Diploma Entrance Test.

However at the time of counselingyou should  have passed the qualifying examination in 10th standard examination conducted by Board of Secondary Education Orissa or its equivalent are only eligible for admission.

For admission into 3rd semester

Diploma courses under lateral admission candidates who have passed 2 ears trades of ITI after passing 10th class examination or candidates who have passed +2 vocational (Not +2 Science, Arts or Commerce) are eligible such candidates must have obtained not less than 60% marks in the concerned qualifying examination and must be permanent resident of Orissa
