The mining branch is the eye catching branch during placement season. Competition is less for mining tbh. Coming to mechanical placement it was poor during 2022. It has changed a bit in next years. Mining has huge opportunity here.

This college has all the necessary facilities like hostels for boys and girls, gym, auditorium, wifi, well equipped labs, library and many more. Orissa School of Mining Engineering is situated in Kendujhar in Odisha. Established in 1956 It is affiliated to Biju Patnaik University of Technology. Admission to 3 year Diploma course is made through Diploma Entrance Test. The The admission dates for Diploma courses has not been released yet. there is nothing mention like distance course for Diploma in mining engineering in Orissa School of Mining Engineering.
