• Candidates can apply to the B. Tech course at PGEC offline by downloading the application form from the official website of the University.

Purulia Government Engineering College offers the B. Tech course at the UG level, in 5 specializations. Applications to the B.Tech course are accepted from candidates who have completed 10+2 with 45% marks in the qualifying examination. Make sure you look for proper cutoffs according to Quota (General, Ladies, PWD, TFWS), category and also according to the home or other than home university.

For your kind information, after taking admission in Gandhi Engineering college, Bhubaneswar it would be really a tough situation for you to take admission in another college like Geeta Engineering College, Panipat because after taking admission through counseling procedure you freeze your seat and get admission in the allotted institute because of that your seat is fixed and your option of choosing another college through counseling process is nullified. The only method is to contact the Geeta Engineering College and ask them about any procedure about admission regardless of counseling.

Many students got placement the placement rate is good. Companies like tech mahindra  come for placements. college doesn't provide any internship . But still conducting many workshops under IEEE and many organization.They conduct classes like soldering workshops , biomedical equipment design etc.
