Government General Degree College, Singur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college, being a new one, is presently in the stage of developing its library. Both the learning interests of the students and the research interests of the teachers and interested students are considered while framing its library, which we believe is the integral nature of any good college library.

The college has a collaboration with Government Physical Education College for Women ensured by MoU to promote the extra-curricular activities like games and sports and for a holistic development of our students 

The college has one centralized canteen in a separate building is located on the college premises. The canteen remains open during college hours on all working days.

The college has support from the government, and the laboratories of this college are rapidly turning into extremely well-equipped facilities for running practical courses and also for research purposes. The students are always encouraged to nurture their skills in the laboratory under the expert guidance of the faculty members.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The College has a medical unit within the main building equipped with a bed, wheelchair, weight machine and pressure checking machine, and First-aid box with medicines. The college is adjacent to two medical institutions, Singur Trauma Centre and Singur General Hospital which can be reached instantly for any medical emergency.

 The college has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.
