Government Medical College, Alibag Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

The Government Medical College, Alibag (GMC Alibag) has recently started the establishment of a completely government-funded medical college in Raigad, Maharashtra. The prime purpose of this establishment is to magnify the numbers of quality medical seats in the regions under government funding. This institution is probably going to take mostly admission on the basis of eligibility cum entrance test which is the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET UG) and is to be standardized as an entrance examination for all medical colleges in India.

Degree wise Admission Process:

MBBS: The Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) program is the only course being offered by Government Medical College, Alibag. It runs for six years with a compulsory rotating internship for one year. The total intake for the college for this undergraduate program is 100 seats.

Admission into the MBBS program at GMC Alibag is based entirely on the scores obtained by the student in his or her NEET UG examination. Eligibility requirements include:

1. Having gone through Higher Secondary (10+2) education with the compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology, English, and Mathematics.
2. Having qualified in the NEET UG examination with a score above the cut-off determined by the authorities.
