Government Mukut Dhar Pandey College, Katghora Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College Hostel has a new 50-bed girl's hostel that has been constructed with the financial aid of UGC. This hostel is presently not in our possession. Efforts are being made to get it completed soon and get possession. This hostel shall be of great help to the girl candidates who have an aspiration to achieve higher knowledge and education.

The library is well stocked with more than 22000 books. 10 Magazines are available. 06 daily newspapers are also available to the students . A well-organized reading room is available to the students from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Newspapers, Magazines and other books can be borrowed by the students by depositing their I-Card. Reference books can also be accessed by Students & research scholars . The process of automation of the library through computerization shall be taken up soon.

The college has an extraordinary record in sports. Most of the students belonging to the tribal belt have a good physique enabling them to excel in various sports. The main sports are Kho Kho, Kabbadi, Malkhamb, Volley Ball, Hand Ball, Wrestling, cycling, and yoga.

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students.

The College canteen has been operational on the campus near the library building. This initiative was taken by Jan Bhagidari Samiti to provide healthy and homely refreshments/snacks to the students and faculty.

The College has a WiFi facility. Four are in the main building and one zone has been designated for the library section. Students can access academic study material using these zones. A Wi-Fi facility has been initiated by CHIPS ( a govt. of CG enterprise).

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students.

The College Photocopy facility has been provided to the students on a subsidized rate.
