Government Polytechnic Balasore provides various facilities to the students in the college campus. The Government Polytechnic Balasore facilities include Smart Classrooms, Seminar Halls, various Departmental Laboratories, spacious and well maintained Library, Boys Hostel and Girls Hostel. The entire college campus of Government Polytechnic Balasore is fully Wi- Fi enabled.

The college has a number of Departmental Laboratories which are well equipped with all the sophisticated tools and equipment to teach the practical aspect of the course curriculum to the students.
- Boys Hostel
The college has 2 Boys Hostels which can accommodate approximately 240 students. The Hostel Rooms are well ventilated and well furnished. The Boys Hostel has a Mess and a Common Room where the students can undertake various activities.
- Girls Hostel
Government Polytechnic, Balasore provides Hostel facility to the Girls Students. The college has 2 Girls Hostel with the residential capacity of approximately 235 Girls. The Hostel Rooms are equipped with furniture and fittings. The Girls Hostel has Mess facility and Dining Hall facility available for the students.
- Sports
Government Polytechnic, Balasore provides various indoor and outdoor games and sports facilities to the students. The college also has a Yoga Hall for the students.
- Cafeteria
Government Polytechnic, Balasore has a Canteen which serves healthy and nutritious food and snacks to the students at reasonable prices.

There is a cultural club in this institution which is regularly used by the student for practice in different event inside and outside the campus
