Diploma in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at Government Polytechnic College, Melur Offline Course

Admission to the First year Diploma Course is done strictly on the basis of marks scored in the SSLC examination as per the reservation policy of the Government of Tamilnadu for BC, MBC, SC, SC(A) & ST. Direct admission to the second year of the course based on the HSC/ITI mark and as per the percentage ordered by the Government is also made from those who have passed the Higher Secondary Course (Academic and Vocational) and ITI. In addition, seats are reserved for the following special categories of students. They are selected and allotted by the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai. Separate applications must be sent for this purpose to the Directorate of Technical Education, Chennai.
