Government Polytechnic Sitamarhi has a placement cell that provides various training and guidance programmes for the students to prepare them for the industry. The Govt Sitamarhi placement cell organises workshops, seminars, guest lectures, live projects, internships, portfolio reviews, and mock interviews. The GP Sitamarhi placement cell also maintains a strong relationship with the companies and organisations that visit the campus to recruit the students.
Many top recruiters like Subros, Steel Strips Wheels Ltd, Spark, Infracom, OKaya, and others will visit the campus to select the students based on their skills and abilities. The Government Polytechnic Sitamarhi is responsible for conducting placement drive for the students studying in their final year.
