Government Post Graduate College, Deoband. It is one of the colleges associated with the University of Saharanpur, in the state of Uttar Pradesh, and offers several graduate and postgraduate programs in a wide variety of subjects. Admission for prospective students is designed to be easy and hassle-free at Government Post Graduate College, Deoband. Degree wise Admission Process

BA: The Bachelor of Arts program at Government Post Graduate College, Deoband offers a very good comprehensive program for studying the various humanities and social sciences. Admission into BA is through marks that a candidate obtains during the 12th standard examination. The number of seats available for this program is 240.

B.Com: The college profession has B.Com. A portion of the admission based on the attainment of the examination in the 12th standard is focused on the commerce and mathematics subjects. This programme will avail 66 seats.

MA Sociology: The Master of Arts in Sociology program takes in students that have completed their bachelor's degree, preferably in Sociology or related disciplines of social sciences. The admission process may include some consideration of the undergraduate marks and possibly under an interview. The intake for this program stands at 60 students.

MA Political Science: This postgraduate program in Political Science caters specifically to those who possess an undergraduate degree in political science or occupying another closely related area. Admission is granted based on the results obtained in the applicant's undergraduate degree. There are 60 seats offered by the college for this specialization.

MA Hindi: For all those interested in Hindi and its literature, there is the opportunity for advanced studies in MA Hindi. Admissions for this program shall be granted to those that possess a bachelor's degree in Hindi or associated subjects. The program has an intake capacity of 60 seats.
