Greater Noida College of Technology, Greater Noida Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Greater Noida College of Technology (GNCT) came into being and stands tall as one of the renowned engineering institutes, location being Knowledge Park II, Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh. The college offers a plethora of engineering programs at degree and diploma levels. GNCT has a process for admissions where deserving candidates for its various courses are picked based on their performance on entrance examinations and the counseling procedures thereafter. GNCT accepts mainly Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) for admissions conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). This is an Important National level examination for candidates seeking admission to the B.Tech programs in the College. The college accepts rank from the Uttar Pradesh Joint Entrance Examination (JEECUP), which is conducted by Joint Entrance Exam Council, Uttar Pradesh, for the admission of diploma courses.

The admission process generally coincides with JEE Main, which is usually held twice a year. The candidates may check the official website of JEE Main for confirmation of the examination dates, as they change every year. The JEE Main results are announced, and the eligible candidates are called for counseling to get seats.  The minimal eligibility for B.Tech programs is the passing of the 10+2 or equivalent examination, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one among Chemistry, Biology, Biotechnology, or any other technical vocational subject. Additionally, candidates are required to fulfill the minimum percentage of marks required by the college and qualify for the JEE Main examination.

Application Process

The application procedure is different for each of the programs:

For B.Tech Programs:

1. Attend and qualify for the JEE Main examination conducted by NTA.
2. Register for the counseling method after the JEE Main results are declared.
3. Complete and submit an online application form for GNCT with your personal and academic details.
4. Pay the application fee through available modes.
5. Upload scanned copies of required documents including JEE Main scorecard, Class 10, and Class 12 mark sheets, and other relevant certifications.
6. Wait for the issuance of merit lists based on JEE Main scores and their respective preferences.
7. If shortlisted, the candidate attends the counseling for seat allotment.
8. The student must ultimately complete the admission process, including verification of documents and fee payment, in the time frame set by GNCT.

For Diploma Programs:

1. Appear for the JEECUP examination.
2. Register for the counseling process conducted by the Joint Entrance Exam Council, UP.
3. Fill out the online application form for GNCT's diploma programs.
4. Pay the required application fee.
5. Upload necessary documents, including JEECUP rank card and academic certificates.
6. Participate in the counseling process based on the JEECUP rank.
7. If allotted a seat, complete the admission process at GNCT, including document verification and fee payment.

Degree-wise Admission Procedures

B.Tech Computer Science and Engineering: The program has an intake of 180 students, with admissions made through the JEE Main score and subsequent counseling. The focus of the program is on core computer science concepts and engineering principles.

B.Tech Artificial Intelligence: The program has an enrollment capacity of 60 students, and the method of admission is followed very rigorously for the Computer Science program, i.e., JEE Main ranking is followed by counseling. The course is destined to impart specialized knowledge in AI technologies.

B.Tech Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning: The seat intake for this course is also 60, along with admission procedures through the JEE Main ranking. The course imparts in-depth study of AI and ML concepts and prepares students for emerging tech industries.

B.Tech Data Science: This newly introduced program also has 60 seats. Admission is through JEE Main scores and counseling. The course combines computer science with statistical analysis and data management skills.

Diploma Programs: GNCT offers diploma courses in Mechanical Engineering Production, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering Automobile, each with 60 seats. Admissions to these programs are based on the JEECUP rank and subsequent counseling process.
