Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology, Kolkata has a Training and Placement Cell which has the responsibility of inviting various companies. Wipro, Cognizant, Alembic Pharmaceuticals Sun Phama, Cipla, Nestle are the prominent recruiters. The placement usually begins in the Final semester. Students with backlogs are mostly not allowed.

Campus placement is quite good. Many reputed companies visit our college frequently and they recruit a good number of students. Various reputed companies like Nestle, Cipla, Alembic, Fresenius Kabi, Pulsus visit our college to give placement on campus. A large number of students got placement from campusing in our college.

Hello, Sarah. I congratulate your cousin for clearing WBJEE. You mentioned your cousin has secured Pharmacy Merit Rank 6210 and he belongs to GENERAL category as well. Based on his rank, he have a pretty good chance to get admission in Guru Nanak Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology. In 2020, in Round - 1 of WBJEE Counselling, the Opening Rank prescribed in order to be eligible for GNIPST was 2395 while the Closing Rank for the same was 14563. So, you can see there is a clear window of opportunity to get admission in GNIPST.

Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharma) is a four- year full-time program that is the undergraduate level in the pharmacy education course offered by Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Kolkata, and approved by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and Pharmacy Council of India (PCI).
Eligibility criteria:
The candidates must have 10+2, Physics, Chemistry, Maths/Biology, with 45% marks.
Admission procedure:
Admission in B pharma in this college via WBJEE exam.
