Gurudeva Institute of Science and Technology (GIST), located in Payyappady, Puthuppally, Kottayam, in the state of Kerala, is offering several engineering programs at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels. GIST has a simple admission procedure which adheres to the regular admission procedures followed by the engineering colleges in Kerala.

The procedure for the admission in M.Tech programs at GIST is based on the GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) scores. Admission is done based upon the performance of a candidate in the Kerala Engineering Entrance Examination (KEAM). The number of available seats is distributed as follows: Computer Sci. and Engineering (60), Civil Engineering (30), Mechanical Engineering (30), Electrical and Electronics Engineering (15), and Electronics and Communication Engineering (15).

M.Tech: The institute has two M.Tech programs: Communication Engineering and Cyber Security, both of which have 12 seats available. The admission to these programs is primarily based on GATE scores; however, candidates with valid GATE scores in the related engineering disciplines can apply. Final selection could be based on any additional criteria defined by the concerned institute or the affiliating university.
