GVR and S College of Engineering and Technology, Guntur (GVR&S Guntur) is a popular college offering various engineering and management programs. The college follows a merit-based and clear admission process for its undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The process of admission normally starts in May-June for the August-September beginning academic year. B.Tech course admissions are largely based on the Andhra Pradesh Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (AP EAMCET) conducted by the Government of Andhra Pradesh.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Tech: GVR&S Guntur offers B.Tech programs in Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Artificial Intelligence and Data Science, and Computer Science and Engineering with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. Admissions are offered based on AP EAMCET scores. The college has two categories for admission in B.Tech courses: Category A (70% seats) conducted through counseling of AP EAMCET, and Category B (30% seats) conducted by management through an open process advertised in the newspapers.

M.Tech: M.Tech courses in Computer Science and Engineering, CAD CAM, Power Systems, and VLSI and Embedded Systems are offered by the college. The admission is on the basis of GATE scores or AP PGECET ranks. The admission can be based on additional tests or interviews.
