Hamidia Girls Degree College, Allahabad Admission Process

Hamidia Girls Degree College, Allahabad, is one of the reputed colleges providing higher education for women in Uttar Pradesh. It has a variety of undergraduate and postgraduate programs available in several disciplines. The admissions criterion in Hamidia Girls Degree College is based on merit so that deserving individuals could pursue their selections of study. In its bid to conform to national standards for higher education institutions in terms of admissions and thus offer a transparent and fair process of selection, the college has introduced the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) for undergraduate admissions.

We plan to conduct the CUET UG entrance examination for admission to the next academic session between May 15, 2025, and May 24, 2025, in online mode. However, every year, the college may commence entrance as early as May-June in preparation for August-September when the academic year starts running. Students interested in applying can tap into the official college site on a constant basis for the most updated news on application deadlines, as well as all admission related information.

The Application Process:

1. For undergraduate courses:

  • Registration and take the CUET UG entrance exam.
  • On announcing the results, qualified candidates will then apply to the college.
  • Fill up the college application form expected to be available on its official website.
  • Submit the necessary documents, especially CUET UG score card, 10+2 mark sheet, and other relevant certificates.
  • The college prepares merit lists based on CUET UG scores and other criteria.
  • Candidates who are selected will be allowed to proceed to the final step for admission, which includes document verification along with the fee payment.

2. For postgraduate courses:

  • The application form may be different for the MA programs.
  • Candidates may have to take the entrance examination conducted by the University of Allahabad or one of the national PG entrance tests.
  • Shortlisted candidates might be called for interviews or further selection rounds.
