Hindu College of Engineering and Technology, Guntur Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College established a hostel facility exclusively for women to accommodate 200 students. The Hostel is located adjacent to the college.

The College library with modern facilities is housed in about 4000 SQ ft catering to the needs of students in a peaceful atmosphere to study on the college premises during their leisure hours. The college also provides a Digital Library facility through 10 computer systems. The college is continuously updating the library with the latest editions of good authors in various subjects from time to time. We have also subscribed to National and International Magazines as per norms. At present, the college is having a sum total of volumes on various subjects altogether.

The college has sports facilities for all students. The college promotes sports and games for enhancing the physical and psychological development of students. Sports and Games are organized regularly in the college to develop team spirit, leadership qualities, and organizing abilities among the students. A full-time qualified Physical Director was appointed to look after the day-to-day games and sports activities of the college.

The college has advanced computer systems duly loaded with software packages as per the norms of AICTE and JNTU, Kakinada as under Computer Systems: 120 Internet Lab: 30 Computer Lab: 60

The College offers Canteen which offers delicious food, and superior services with care. The eating joints offer an excellent multi-cuisine menu in a comfortable and vibrant ambiance. A wide variety of fresh juices, coffee, milkshakes, and other beverages are also available. Apart from providing other eating stuff like sandwiches, snacks, fresh fruits, cakes, etc. in front of the campus.

The college has an auditorium facility for events and seminars.

The college has a departmental-based laboratories facility for the students.

The College is connected by trains and RTC Buses with high frequency from all the suburbs located around 60 Km distance. RTC bus stand and railway station are within a distance of 3 Kms from our college and it is connected by frequent service autos and city buses plying around 10 Kms within the radius of Guntur city. Thus the college students have access to cheap, easy & frequent transport facilities right from dawn till the late hours of the evening.

The college has a convenience store facility for students. (like photocopying facility and stationery etc.)
