Ilahia School of Science and Technology, Ernakulam Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Considering reputable engineering colleges in Ernakulam, it also includes Ilahia School of Science and Technology (ISSAT), which offers a wide range of undergraduate and diploma programs.  For B.Tech programs, admission will be provided in ISSAT according to merit obtained in the Kerala Engineering Architecture and Medical Examination (KEAM). KEAM is an Entrance Examination for admission to Engineering Colleges in Kerala. Generally, it is held year after year in the period of April-May, and the latest KEAM is scheduled from April 24 to April 28 in the year 2025.  The basic eligibility requirements to enter into the B.Tech programs in ISSAT include successful completion of the 10+2 examination or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as necessary subjects and the minimum percentage laid down as per Kerala Technological University (KTU) along with qualifying KEAM Entrance Examination.

Admission to the diploma programs might take place in a different mode. For B.Tech programs, the following procedure is:

1. Register for and attend the KEAM examination conducted by the Commissioner of Entrance Examinations (CEE) Kerala.
2. Thereafter, based on the KEAM results, qualified candidates apply for admissions to ISSAT through the CEE Kerala centralized allotment process.
3. Open the official CEE, Kerala site and fill the online application form for engineering admissions.
4. Pay the required application fee as demand by CEE Kerala.

6. Attend the scheduled counseling as announced by CEE Kerala.

2. Fill out the application for admissions to diplomas, according to possible instructions, either online or offline.
3. Submit copies of required documents that include 10th standard mark sheet and other relevant certificates.
4. Pay the admissions notification application fee.
5. Appear for the entrance test/interview if so required by the institute/state authority.
6. Carry out the admission process in ISSAT as per the given timetable upon selection.

Admission Process Degree Wise

B.Tech: ISSAT has B.Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering. Admission to these programs is based on KEAM scores. Each specialization in the institute has limited seats, while the total intake across all programs is 288. Candidates must have cleared 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, and must qualify in KEAM to be eligible for admission.

Diploma: ISSAT also has diploma programs in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering. Most of these are three-year full-time programs. Different kinds of application and selection processes may apply for admission into the diploma programs-be it on the basis of 10th-grade marks or state-level diploma entrance examination.
