Indira Gandhi Institute of Technology has a huge campus with lushy green environment and academic blocks spread over. Each department has got ample infrastructure and well ventilated classrooms along with really helpful smart boards .

I'm currently pursuing Btech in Chemical engineering here as it is one of the core branches and definitely with the best faculties who are friendly and approachable while being expert at their respective subject matters.

Many core and IT companies have been visiting the campus since last few years and placement percentage is quite strong this year too. The Career Development Centre is doing its best and many more opportunities are on the way.

Being a state govt. college fees are quite nominal(Approx 35k per year+hostel fees) for regular courses. Its really worth it as we are getting to study a professional course in this fees. Also scholarships are available from the government schemes which can be taken benefit of.

Sarang is a quiet and peaceful place situated some 10 kms from Talcher city. It is well connected to Bhubaneswar and Talcher by road while the nearest railway station is 7 kms away. The campus is large enough with various facilities like ATM, Health Centre, Gym, Playground, Post office , etc being situated within the campus itself. The teachers and staff are quite supportive and approachable. The college has its own Ambulance to handle medical emergencies.

Infrastructure is good but need some improvisation, Need to improve the laboratories, Need of wifi installation in campus and improve the connectivity and speed of wifi in library. Food quality is too poor and the kitchen of the hostel is so unhygienic. Causally Hostels are cleaned

I'm pursuing B.Tech in Electrical Engineering because it's my dream to persuing. Here teaching quality is so good because of our faculties. Our curriculum of teaching is updated by need like we learn here about matlab solar energy etc. What we study here that makes my job-ready if I'm also putting efforts

Placement quality is average as compair to other institutes. Most probably 30% to 40% students get placed. In according to my knowledge height salary package 12lac per annum offered and the course is mechanical engineering. The average salary offered 2.5 to 3.5 lac per annum. The placement process is easy and pleasant for us. Sometimes our college was supportive.

35000 or (35k) we pay for our course fee . Yes I feel I'm getting my money's worthy because of the knowledge that I learn form the institute and the faculties are supportive and friendly , and upadate us by teach about new technologies

College campus is average because the locality and outsiders are entered in campus, they use the campus paly ground and freely wondering around the campus, sometimes they make distrubance.

The college infrastructure is really good with all the necessary facilities available. The facilities are open to all. The hostels are clean but the food quality can be improved. More infrastructures are being made.

Currently I'm pursuing B.Tech in Chemical Engineering and let me say you the teaching is excellent. The curriculum is updated and goes with the syllabus. The guidance from our faculties make us job ready.

I'm in 2nd year so I don't know much about the placement process. But in 2023, the average package was about 5-7 lpa. The quality of placements this year was really good and many of our seniors got placed.

Campus I properly maintained. All the facilities are available here, All the equipment like laboratories and etc. are available and well maintained. Sports facilities good in the college like badminton ,football, Abbadi and etc. games are available here.

This College have good academics. All the teachers are well qualified and teachers very helpful all teachers motivate students for higher studies and placement-oriented topics and roadmaps. Teachers are teach student in practical way.

The college placement has good in both core and non-core branch. It's growing year by year placement. Mostly IT companies and core companies like Adani ,arss and many others companies requiting students in the college.

There two types of payment methods one is for core branch and ssc course like cse and etc. for core it is 40000 and ssc it is 72000 per year and its value for money and per semester wise hostel charges up to 25000.

Very Nature friendly campus and it has good weather and natural beauty the campus was 189 acers and campus brhamni river best sunset view and chiiling areas like annnatsayan and etc are avilable here,

Yes, IGIT has all the facilities of like halls of residence, dispensary facilities,well maintained classrooms , labs , centralised libraries and sports equipments. The hostels are kept clean and neat but there is a little improvement required in the food quality.

IGIT Sarang has the best faculties who themselves are graduated from top IITs and NITs with excellent teaching skills.They give a profound idea of the core subjects also other coding and communication classes are being conducted by the placement cell.

The quality of placements is much more improved in the recent years. Many top core companies has approached our college and some excellent students are being placed there with a decent package. India's leading IT companies have been the4 top recruiters for our college along some great mass recruiters.

IGIT is a state government owned institute having a very low fees as compared to many private as well as semi govt. colleges. Here students get many facilities with hostel facilities within very low amount.

The most beautiful thing about our college is it's campus life. IGIT is surrounded by natural serenity with a lot of greeneries. The students are very friendly and there is NO RAGGING. There are facilities like night dispensaries and ambulances for any emergency.

Lastly I would like to mention that alike other government institutes IGIT has it's own pros and cons. But this place is really worth exploring. This place can make you ready for any adverse situations in life. This place can give the best four years of your life.

Yes... It has many Infrastructure, facilities and equipments....but still it's not enough..... In class rooms we have that everything that should be in a class .... But like almost all the other colleges we also want wifi in campus as well as in hostel... As we r giving fees for it every year. .. U don't have any issue with food stuffs.... Because that's good over here as comapre to other colleges... And am glad for that too.. All over it needs just a little bit more improvement.. Thank you.....

I am studying electronics and telecommunications engeenering... As am interested in IT sector.... And honestly speaking teaching is not up to mark... And am just in first year of Engennring.. So.... Till know. We have not started our own branch subjects.. But I hope it will help me to build my inner skills to get ready to catch any job opportunity.

It's good.... It touches upto 20lakh packages I average .. Last time ,.maximum students of electronics and telecommunications, ETC , had got campus.. So I hope I will also get campus with good package..

It takes almost 1 lakh per year. But sometimes I feel for government college this should not cost this much... And till know I didn't felt anything about worth of the money.

It is one of precisely located area. It has everything like stadium,iconic dome,having a vast campus area fully describe its multifunctionality. having a Fantastic collage campus, with having necessary labs and equipments.

One of most good college as compare to private colleges.teachers are well educated.Maximum teachers completed their doctrate in theor respective subjects.well elaborates in the classes.pleased to join this college.

50% of the student in the college placed through recruitment process.avg.salary is 5-6 lakh.highest is going 10.5 lpa.the quality is good. Non core company are highly interested to hire the students as well as in core comapanies also.

The cost per year is only 36,500 including both odd & even semister and examination fees.yes the money is worth it as it is including all the services with excellent performance.having 6 computer labs,central library all are accessible.

Its campus is highly appreciated. Having well organised buildings with availability of all the necessary things inside .many clubs are there where students get engaged there like photo clubs,music,dance,gymnastic clubs &etc

One of the best engineering colleges in odisha under govt.of odisha.if you are choosing it you are most luckiest one.living among well educated people affectes a carrer alot.so you can get your admission here with no doubts.

I am studying btech in chemical engineering.... All professors are helpful as well as teaches us really well... Apart from theoretical knowledge we get to know many thinks practically which is the most important.

Our college provide good quality of placement.80 percent of students were placed in our college.The highest salary package offered is nearly 11LPA and not only non core branches, core branch students always get very good placements

I'm studying In Btech In Metallurgical And Materials Engineering.All Professors are really helpful as well as teachers Us Really Well apart from theoritical knowledge we get to know many things pratically.

Our College provide good quality of placement. 80% of students are placed in our College.The Highest salary package offered nearly 11LPA,And not only noncoru,coru branch students very good placements.

The academic buildings fulfil the purposes.It has smart boards and labs too.library is also available with proper wifi and air conditioning.Hostels are also decent.you get more facilities with each passing year.

I am enrolled in computer science engineering.Teaching qualities of some subjects are really good and some are average. Curriculum is based on Aicte guidelines.It is similar to all other colleges.beside that there are open elective courses which will enhance your skill and courses are as per the modern day requirements.

Not sure about placements.but students do get good packages.some students also opt for higher degrees.maximum students are placed with an average of 5 lacs per annum.college do have a career development centre which ensures more and more companies visit our campus.

Since i have taken self financing course its cost me around 70k/year but for core branches it is 28k/year. Money can be worth it if someone do hardwork along with it.

Campus life is good.you get a proper environment to study.you don't have much distractions.
