Indraprastha Institute of Technology and Management, New Delhi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The College library supports the educational programs of the Institute by providing physical and intellectual access to educational databases and information which includes 12 National and 3 International Journals. It also provides access to various research papers in different areas through DELNET. With an air-conditioned reading room, it is a modern facility, well-stocked with the latest editions of more than 29000 books by eminent authors to fulfill all the requirements of the faculty as well as students. The availability of any book can be verified on the library OPAC. In addition, the library has a good collection of CDs and cassettes containing useful information on all the fields of a study conducted at the institute.

The college has good networking for the alumni association.

The College organizes both inter-college and intra college sports events. The students also compete in the Annual Sports Meet organized every year. Students have distinguished themselves by winning medals in various sports tournaments at the university and the institute level.

The college has a computer center facility. Institute has five IT Labs with 180 computers. All computers have internet connectivity of 50 Mbps. The configuration of systems is core i3(4th Generation) & i5(6th Generation) processors with 4 GB RAM. Latest Operating System is Windows 7. IT lab has two windows servers. Institute is equipped with Wi-fi.

The College classrooms are air-conditioned and equipped with multimedia and audio-visual equipment to facilitate effective learning and they are designed to promote maximum interaction between the faculty and the students. Each classroom has a system loaded with Ubuntu and has Internet and Intranet connectivity.

The college has a canteen facility for staff and students. Students have a place to relish during breaks from the hectic academic curriculum. The multi-ethnic tastes of students are catered within the bursting atmosphere of the multi-cuisine cafeteria serving a variety of snacks and meals.
