Institute of Home Economics, New Delhi Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

IHE New Delhi medical facility has room with basic primary first aid facilities to check blood pressure, oxygen saturation and blood glucose along with minor ailments management e.g. fever, and minor injury.

A Four Station Gym, Cross Trainer, Sports Treadmills, Steppers, Rowing Machine, Leg exerciser, Horse, Height and Weight Scale, Gym Balls and Weight Section are available in the Gym for the use of staff and students, under the guidance of an experienced gym trainer at IHE New Delhi.

The IHE New Delhi library is an integral part of the academic setup of the college, the major aim of which is to acquire, collect and organise books and other allied reading materials for use by students and faculty members and thus support the teaching programme of the college. There is a well-equipped reading Room, which subscribes to dailies, weeklies, periodicals and journals

IHE New Delhi has three computer labs equipped with computers loaded that has latest software and are wi-fi enabled for use by the students, research scholars and faculty.

The IHE New Delhi canteen has been renovated this summer with an increased seating capacity for students to sit and eat or chat with their friends. A kiosk for coffee, iced tea, milkshakes and soup is the latest attraction.

IHE New Delhi has a Wi-Fi facility for its students, staff and faculty members which covers the entire campus.

The IHE New Delhi labs are spread on all four floors of the college. Separate labs are allocated for post-graduate students. The laboratories are naturally lit, very well-ventilated, spacious and well-equipped. All laboratories are provided with computer facilities and internet for the benefit of the staff and students.

IHE New Delhi has a parking space facility for its faculty, staff, and students.

Apart from the required course material, the bookshop normally sells reference books, dictionaries, books on general knowledge, and competitive examinations are available at IHE New Delhi. However, presently, the bookshop is not operational.

IHE New Delhi club is to empower the students to participate and take up meaningful environment-related activities or projects for a sustainable future.
