IPS Roorkee Degree Wise Admission Process

IPS Roorkee offers various courses in the fields of arts, commerce and science and offers merit based admissions for the same.

B.Tech: The admission of a B.Tech course in IPS Roorkee shall generally be thought to follow a consolidated admission process for engineering courses. For admission, candidates have to appear 10+2, with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects. Admission is generally either through merit based on the JEE Main or on the basis of a state-level engineering entrance together with subsequent counseling.

MBA: In the MBA admission procedure process, IPS Roorkee may follow the admission of the national-level management entrance CAT, MAT, and CMAT and require the scores obtained in any of the above entrance exams. Further eligibility needs that the candidates should at least possess a bachelor degree in any field under a minimum percentage prescribed by the institution. The selection process shall also include group discussions and personal interviews.

BCA: Admission to the BCA programme generally requires Candidates to complete their schooling of 10+2 with Mathematics as one of the subjects. The institute may conduct its own entrance exam. In addition, scores obtained from other competing state or national level entrance exams for computer applications may also be accepted.

MCA: Generally, candidates with a BCA or B.Sc. (Computer Science/IT) will be considered for admission to the MCA programme. Admission shall be granted either on the basis of national level MCA entrance tests, like NIMCET, or state-level MCA entrance tests with merit.
