Hi Riti,

As per the 2020 NIRF Ranking, in 200 colleges, Jabalpur Engineering College has not been given any rank. Even in the Year 2019 and 2018, Jabalpur Engineering College has not been given any rank.

The only college, Which has been given a rank from Jabalpur is Pandit Dwarka Prasad Mishra Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design, and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Jabalpur.

2. In ECE also Jabalpur students get placed well compared to UIT RGPV
3. Average package offered is 3.60 LPA for B.tech in Jabalpur .
4. 103 Students rated 3.8 /5 for Jabalpur  Whereas coming to  UIT RGPV  94 students rated 3.4 / 5 .

I think know you understand very well Jabalpur Engineering is quite better compared to UIT RGPV Bhopal .

The eligibility criteria to get admission in to M.tech in Jabalpur College of Engineering is that a candidate must have passed in Bachelor's degree in the relevant field with minimum 50% aggregate and for candidates belonging to reserved categories it is 45% aggregate from a recognized board.

You may get seat in Jabalpur engineering college in ECE,EEor IT  branch but for cse it would be somewhat difficult as the closing rank will be 1 lakh but your rank is more than 1 lakh.Here is the previous year cut-off category wise and domicile wise

We all have known to the fact that without officially released cut-off marks it's quite difficult for anyone to give any accurate statement about the precise cut-off details of this year for any kind of instituions.

However regarding your query, at first I would like to recommend you to go through the previous year's cut-off details prominently from the official website of Shri Govindram Seksaria Institute of Technology and Science: https://www.sgsits.ac.in/

So it becomes quite clear for you also that despite being reserved category student it's just one kind of impossible for you to get opportunity of studying in this renowned institution in your preferable departments i.e. CSE and IT with this type of rank and marks through 85% Home State quota. Because in 2019 the last qualifying General Merit rank of Computer Science department for OBC category student was 22230 and in the case of Information Technology department it was 27560 where in this year your category rank is 35k i.e. your CRL rank must be above 1 lakh.

Though the cut-off ranks change every year depending on several determining factors, but it's confirmed that it can't be so much increased to become 1 lakh. So in this context I suggest you to leave the hope for SGSITS.
