Our college have a very good infrastructure, the classes are clean and well maintained. Our campuses and departments have good facilities like water coolers, sanitation, and greenery. The labs are good and air-conditioned. It contains smart boards. It provides a big field for sports and a basketball court too.
Our college has the best faculty members. They are very supportive and knowledgeable. Some faculty members are top-rated for their particular subject in the city. They provide good training and instruction to students for interviews. Semester exams will not be that difficult because of good teaching.
About 70% of students get placed in our college every year. The highest salary package that was offered to us was 20 LPA, and the lowest salary package was 4 LPA. Most of the technical companies like TCS, Infosys, Herman, etc. come to our college to recruit students. About 50-60% of students get internship offers from well-reputed companies, and the roles offered are web developer, inspector, etc.
Infrastructure is good. Don't know about Wi-Fi now because it was not there when I was studying. There is a big library to study and more than 1000s of books are there. I have no idea about hostel because I never enquired about it and I have never heard of hostels.
Faculty members are very highly qualified but they are not very helpful specially to me. Yes, this course was relevant to me because it gave me a job. Semester exams are not so difficult except M1 and M2. Yes, we can say at some point students get ready for industries at a beginner level.
Many students get placement but not more than enough, even I did not get placement from college although I am working in a good company now. Tech mahindra, TCS, Cognizant and many other companies are the top recruiting companies. Many students go to other college campus for job selection .
The facilities and infrastructure for our information technology are that we have 4–5 different computer labs. In which two of them have internet connectivity, all of the labs have a minimum of 50 computers in there labs, and the library has enough books for 50 students at the same time.
The faculty at our college is too good. The faculty of our college helps us in teaching and telling us which topics is more important in our lives or which topics help more in your exams placements tests, future, etc. The teachers tell freshers about how the semester exam should be held.
50% of the students were placed at my college. The highest package is INR 8 LPA and the lowest package is INR 2.5 LPA. Amazon, HCL, and Wipro are the top recruiting companies for BTech computer science. 25% of students get an internship from our college. The top roles offered in our course are software developer and data analyst.
The college infrastructure is average, with some department buildings being 70 years old. The Wi-Fi facility is good, but the library does not meet modern standards. The canteen is average, and medical facilities are weak. Game facilities are also average, and there is no significant sports festival to support games.
Teachers are least bothered about teaching; the permanent faculty are well qualified but do not teach regularly. Students need to study by themselves and need to look after their careers by themselves; no one is there to guide in the college. The college doesn't make students ready for the industry. To pass the exam is not that tough; if you do previous years' questions well, you will pass the exam very easily; you only need to fill at least 25 pages of the answer sheet.
I myself, being a 4th-year student right now, have seen the past three years, which gives an idea that after COVID, the placements have gone down. The core branches like mechanical, civil, and electrical do offer jobs comparatively more as compared to IT and CS in this college. Companies like L&T, Reliance, Mahindra do come for placements. The average package is between 2.5-3.5 LPA. The college doesn't provide any internships. Only 20-30% of students get placed, and others prepare for other exams.
Very good college.
A good college boast modern infrastructure that supports both academic and extracurricular activities , fostering a holistic learning environment.State-of-the-art classrooms equiped with smarts boards, projectors and engaging lectures.
A good college offers a rigorous academic curriculum led by experienced and dedicated faculty. It provides diverse programs and courses that cater to a wide range of interests and career paths. It provides diverse program.
A bad college has poor placement records, with few reputable companies visiting the campus. Limited industry connections, inadequate training programs, and lack of career guidence leave students struggling to secure jobs.
Our college infrastructure is good, with well equipped labs , libraries, and campus facilities. High speed wifi all over the college and sports centre for students. Hostel rooms are good even the hostel mess food also good . Fostering a good conductive learning environment.

The college campus has excellent infrastructure. It is one of the best engineering college in Madhya Pradesh. We have a huge library, decent classrooms and well maintained laboratories for all the branches. We also have in-campus hostel they also have very clean and spacious rooms
JEC is known for its excellence in academics and for their curriculum.Since my admission the academics is going pretty well, other than the main classes we also have workshops and other tech fests. The teachers are very helping and the make the students industry ready.
Various mass recruitment companies come to our college for placement drive including Tata Consultancy services, Accenture, etc.average placement is around 5 lakhs per annum, but opportunities for high salary posts are always there.
As it's a tier 3 college don't except high quality infrastructure in this college . but you will get all the basic facilities. Our college infrastructure is improving but still need improvements. In first year there are halls with smartboard and blackboard . from second years onwards you will get laboratory access also along wtih smart classroom(which are not too smart by the way)..
Most of the faculties are not permanent and you have to study and do everything by yourself. Most of the branchs have same scenerio all have to study by their own and complete things bu their own. If you compare academics wrt fees then it is the best in INDIA else if money is not the matter go for something else buddy HONEST SUGGESTION.
very very very few placements because of recession otherwise decent placements can expect an average of 6.5LPA in CSE and IT branch. Don't expect high placements like NIT and EVEN good private IIT's . This year hardly 10 out of 100 in CSE are placed till now i,e 22 Novemnber 2023 although they have 3 more months to apply for but still it is not good placement.
As it is government college and you will get your degree in free of cost. So i will definitely prefer to taket this college and then use that money for other things.
You will have a lot of free time to follow your passion and do whatever you want .. Simply use this college time to improve your skills and you will definitely become successful. In college there are fests and sports meet other than that there are some clubs are also there which are unactive most of the time.
If want Engineering degree with reputation of college without investing any money . WELCOME TO JEC :)
In my college the infrastucture is not good college was not provide wifi , smart class etc. the college location is very far from city . The travelling is not provide by college bus . yah but college environment is good.
The academics performance is very good .The all teacher will help to clear all doubts related topics and one of the most critical factors in evaluting the quality of an academic institution is the qualification and expertise of its faculty members.
First the staff at the college placement office were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. they were always available to answer my question and address any concerns i had . They also helping for placement . In this college the higher package was come . The starting package is 9 LPA
the college fees is average and they also provide scholarship . the 1 year fees was ₹ 22,300 .
college campus life is an exhilarating and transformative period in a student's life . it offers a unique blend of academic, social and growth opportunities that contribute to a well-rounded college experience.
Infrastructure is not good at all everything is old and not up to the mark washrooms are not good even classrooms fans are not working so infrastructure is not up to the mark & also read my freinds review Infrastructure are decent. Labs are good in our college but not operation. We did not gain any practical knowledge here. Library is one of the good thing that happened to my college. In hostel we get a Wi-Fi with bathroom attached to our room. Food quality of mess is very bad. That was one of m
I'm doing electrical engineering from this college because it's best college for electrical engineering in madhya pradesh after manit bhopal and iit indore. There is very good opportunities for job and placement, college has tie up with number of companies those come for campus selection. there are many projects running in our college out of which 75% are successful and there are many projects that are launched. Faculty of jabalpur engineering college is best faculty of madhyapradesh's colleges
for 7th semester placement starts tcs wipro are company come in college and you have to apply off-campus for better placement highest package of the 2023 batch is approx 42lpa, and avg package is 5-6 lpa From cs it ec branch 70-80% of students get placement placement
It only costs near around 14k per year for the tuition fee and around 2k for the hostels which is pretty affordable so yes with this amount , jec is worth it.
The campus life is very good in our college there are many events that take place every year tech-fest, annual day celebration.
Radhe Radhe.
