UPES B.Tech Admissions 2025
ApplyRanked #42 among Engineering colleges in India by NIRF | Highest CTC 50 LPA , 100% Placements
Dear Aspirants ,
The campus placements is average. Students from 7 semesters are eligible for campus placements. Many companies have visited the campus last year this year the placements are slow because of the COVID-19 outbreak. The notable companies that visited the campus are HCL, Reliance, TCS, Wipro, Ultratech, ACC, Accenture, L&T, etc. The highest package offered last year was around 30LPA and the average package was around 5-6 LPA. The percentage for students in IT and CSE have around 100% placement. (students who want placement). For the rest of the branches, it's 30%-70%.
If we go through the above mentioned lines then you will get the scenario of core companies because mostly core companies are visited less with they are not hiring the bulk amount of candidates because there requirements are very less and the pick only few as per their criteria .But the true lines says that placements for core companies is not good as per standards .
Hope it will helpful apart from that if you have any query then feel free to ask .
Thanks

Hello Aspirant,
Well, according to my knowledge the cutoff ranks (not the marks) is around 33055 in JEE Mains for JEC Jabalpur.
This may help.
Happy learning!
Hello Aspirant,
Very first thing I would like to tell you that in Jabalpur Engineering College admission to IT branch is done on the basis of JEE-Main score. So I am guiding you on the basis of previous year's cut-off because for this year cut-offs are not out yet. As per the previous year cut-off you need to have your rank around 65,000 in CRL specially for your category and Home Sate quota, the category rank is quite difficult to predict because cut-offs are bound to change every year depending upon various factors in which category reservation is also the major factor.
For more details refer to the link given below :-
I hope this information helps you.
Good Luck!!
hi,
see the cutoff score change every year and admission to lateral entry students in btech course is done by lateral entry test and diploma score . however every year cutoff score changes and it depends on certain factors like number of applicants, questions difficulty level, seat matrix, students category, choice of streams etc. however if your diploma course aggregate in more than 90 percentage you have decent chances. I suggest you to apply and participate in the counselling process and lets see whats come around.
Jabalpur Engineering College is a leading Engineering college in India. The admission to B.Tech Information Technology is done through Jee Main Score. The cutoffs are quite low. Also the cutoffs depend on various factors like if you are applying through home state quota or through All India quota. If you are applying through home state quota, then you must secure a rank within 6.4 lakhs in CRL for getting into Information Technology in JEC and through all India quota the cutoff rank will be a bit higher, almost around 5.5 lakhs in CRL. However this is based on previous few years' data and this year the cutoff may change. You can use our college Predictor tool to know where you have good chances - https://www.careers360.com/colleges/jabalpur-engineering-college-jabalpur/cut-off?college_id=4162&exam_sub_exam_id=2&gender_id=1&counselling_id=385&category_of_admission_id=2&caste_id=2
