Janata College, Boinda Admission Process

Janata College, Boinda and is one of the affiliated colleges in Boinda, Odisha. The college provides various undergraduate courses in arts and sciences. Degree-wise admission process

B.A.: The B.A. programs span an intake capacity of 128 seats. The admission process for B.A.s is based on merit, considering the performance of the candidate in qualifying examination. The college provides general B.A. as well as honors programs in Political Science, Philosophy, Odia, and History.

B.Sc.: The college offers B.Sc. programs and gives 96 seats in these streams. Admission to B.Sc. courses is also merit-based, taking into account the marks secured in the relevant subjects by the candidate in the 10+2 examination. There are honors programs in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology.

More specialized B.A.: There are 16 seats each for honors programs in Political Science, Philosophy, Odia, and History. These honors admissions follow the same merit-based procedure as that of general ones, but in some cases may impose higher cut-off or additional subject-based criteria.

B.Sc. Honors: Janata College offers honors programs in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, and Zoology, with 16 seats each. The admission procedure for these programs is analogous to that for other honors courses and focuses on the performance of the candidate in 10+2 in relation to the relevant subjects.
