The placement cell of IMA builds a relationship with many companies and invites them for the placement drive. It works as a bridge between the students of IMA and the companies. 

Various seminars and workshops are conducted by the placement cell of IMA to develop the overall personality of the students. Placement cell also provides training to the students on how to behave in an interview, how to qualify the aptitude and reasoning tests, etc. It also ensures that the maximum number of students get placed in reputed organisations/companies.

The detailed placement process of IMA is given below:

• The placement cell of IMA invites the companies by sending an email with all the details. The interested companies will reply back to that email with the dates on which they will be conducting the placement.

• If the companies want, they can do a pre-placement talk with the students to make them aware of the company policies and rules and regulations.

• Based on the resumes of the candidates, they will be selected for the aptitude and reasoning test. Further, the students have to appear for the group discussion round which could be of any topic. Students have to put their opinion on the given topic.

• Candidates will be selected on the basis of the performance in aptitude and reasoning test and they will have to appear for a personal interview round for the final selection.

• Based on the students' calibre, they will be given an offer letter by the companies.
