Excellent exposure but the cafeteria can be improved. I was so nervous when I got this college but my experience has been really good so far. It provides excellent exposure to new skills and courses as it has a vocational center adjacent. It has all the necessary facilities and its library is my favorite part. It also has a hostel and a gym area It does not provide wi-fi facilities for the students but overall it is a great place to be if you can find the right people.
I am pursuing B.com (Hons) from this college because I am really passionate about commerce for a few years. The quality of teaching here is amazing, the college keeps on improving the quality by giving a chance to a younger demographic. The curriculum got updated for NEP but the syllabus didn't really meet a significant change. However, the addition of VAC and SEC courses does provide a more practical approach to commerce.
The placements of the college are improving every year. The highest salary offered usually goes to M.com and the placement process is simple. Students get recruitment offers from companies like HDFC, Accenture, and EY.
The fees increased a little recently but it is still pretty affordable! It depends from course to course but I paid around 20k a year and it provides a great ROI with placements and in terms of exposure.
The location is the best part of this college! Students can join several societies but other than that there isn't really anything happening going around.
Great experience so far and a diverse range of people coming in to learn the same course is kinda fun.
Yes, our college is well equiped with all the the necessary infrastructure, facilities and equipment. Also our college ensures regular maintenance and upkeep of all infrastructural facilities. And motivates its students to perform best in every field.
I'm pursuing Bcom prog from JDMC, education quality is highly satisfying. Professors are experts in the field of study and keeps up to date with the latest happenings. The teachers are highly capable and have good knowledge of their particular subject.
My college has very attractive and a wide range of recruiters from various industries including finance, consulting, technology, media and more. Some of the top recruiters which has visited our campus are.. Deloite, Ernest and young, etc.
Our college has a wide range of facilities including well equipped library and state of the art classrooms additionally the college has a number of extra curricular activities. Clubs and societies that allow students to pursue their interest outside the classroom. As concerned to me I'm pursuing Bcom from this college and fees of this course is about 15k.
As well as my college life is concerned I have enjoyed a lot in this college with my friends beside me. The college's location is in the heart of Delhi is another plus point. As it offers easy access to various cultural social and intellectual events happening in the city .
According to me in my college everything be it from academics to sports everything is well specialized in its own way and it provides us with the best education across DU.
It has been upgraded and yes it's neat and has a very nice library. The canteen is also good. It doesn't have Wifi and smart boards. Also air conditioners are also not available. You can go for other better DU colleges
It comes under Dekhi university and the faculty is good. It comes under the areal hub of UPSC academies i.e karol bagh so students who aspire that can go for this college..it can give them an easy access.
Placements are good, most people here aspire UPSC. And I am currently studying and has not graduated so have no idea of salaries offered to students but many government officials are the alumni here..
It's 20K for my course per year. Yes it is quite worth because of Delhi University's curriculum..also it conducts many events and supports ncc girls. Also fests, and other events take place so yaa....
It's good overall! Students can engage in anything that they like, studies, sports, singing, dancing, debating etc. Bcom and Economics department is good and well mannered also the staff is great! It is located in karol bagh, a hub for UPSC students and also Ganga ram hospital is near.
It could have been more nice if it's interiors get upgraded and more fests would happen. But you can go for more nice colleges of delhi university if you want to persue pol sci or history hons. For economics and.bcom it's good enough.
The college provides the necessary infrastructure and apt surroundings for various activities to be conducted. It has well-maintained gardens, field areas, classrooms and an organized library system. Overall, it's a pleasant place to spend your three years.
B.A.(Hons.) English at Janki Devi Memorial College is a recommended course to opt for. The faculty is really good and the lectures take place regularly. Professors are supportive and assist with all your doubts.
Placements are satisfactory. However, the placement cell at the college put in a lot of effort to provide students with adequate knowledge of the opportunities after college. One needs to get engage with the placement cell actively to stay updated.
Studying at Janki Devi Memorial College is completely worth it. The faculty and the staff are helpful. Also, a special mention to the Principal of the college.
The campus life is decent. Students can engage in various sports activities, college societies and events. The staff is supportive and assisting at all times. However, the views could be subjective.
Our college has a good infrastructure. Most of the facilities like Library,Labs,Hostels,Playground, etc are available in the college. Our library has a wi-fi which is open for all the students and teachers and our library is fully air conditioned also. Not all the classrooms have smartboards but there are several rooms where smartboards are available. Our college has a huge Living space where so many students can enjoy at same time. The food quality is much better than street side food.
I am a student of BSc Maths(Hons.) and I am pursuing this because of my interest in mathematics. All the teachers in our college are very supportive and all of them have a vast knowledge of the subject. The curriculum is updated and approved by Delhi University.
I am giving just 2 stars for placements because there is no such placements fo BSc Maths students. Not even a single student got placed from the college. All the students should have to find a job by themselves. The average salary after BSc in India is 25-30K only. If you want to earn more then you should have to do MSc and Phd also.
Because the annual fees of our college ranges between 12K-15K that's why I'm giving 5 stars. The fees is very affordable and a middle class student like me can also afford this. I feel that I'm getting a quality education at this very low price.
Our college is situated near Karol Bagh Delhi. The college campus exists in a very huge area. The hostels and playgrounds are also inside the college campus. All the teachers and staffs are really good ,all of them are very supportive and helpful. Because our college is situated on main road that's why it's a very safe place. GB Pant Hospital is also very near to the college.
Infrastructure is nice. The greenery in the college makes it very beautiful. Though the classses are okay-ish but overall it's nice. The wifi in the library though is not for students which is quite wrong, I think.
I am currently studying BA Programme course through this college. Right now, Online teaching is going on which becomes quite hectic because you don't get breaks. The college invites you regularly to be a part of several webinars and internships which is great. The faculty is also good. Overall experience in one year is very good.
I don't know about placements yet, records look okay though. I am still in graduation. I have to pursue psychology. I hope they provide good placements for our batch too. Really liking the college by the way.
College infrastructure is really good. Infrastructure is all covered with beautiful trees and flowers college also have its own hostel, library ,canteen, wifi and all are very well maintained .overall you will infrastructure is very good
The quality of teaching is goodbye this doesn't guarantee you job ready as you should have required skills for the job though theotrically teachers explain each and every concept very well and clear and also they are very supportive
Companies like ey ICICI come for placements although big companies visit North campus colleges like srcc, hansraj.Average salary is around 3 to 5 lac pa as this is the salary offered to most of the graduates in the market.overall placements are average
The campus is located in Karol Bagh and takes about 10 minutes by walk from the Karol Bagh metro station. The infrastructure of the college is beautiful and has a lot of greenery. The campus has its own hostel and a decent canteen; there is a mother dairy booth inside the campus as well.
Teachers and the faculty are a little strict here, but most of them are helpful when needed. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. You will find very supportive departments in the college. The college takes academics very seriously as well.
There are very minimal placements coming from the university. Seminars and workshops are held to prepare for the industry by the placement cell of the college itself. The placement cell keeps the students updated about the upcoming drives through groups and social media.
The college is worth the fees. It's an affordable college, honestly. And it's actually worth it considering the academics, exposure, skill development, and placements.
There are numerous college societies for students to get into and develop their skills. The college itself has a friendly and comforting environment and follows anti-ragging rules very strictly. JDMC is one of the good options to choose from in Delhi University.
Janki Devi College has all facilities and required amenities. Labs are good and well-maintained. It has fully air-conditioned library but resources provided by the library are old and they are not adequate. Food quality is okay. Other than this, hostel facilities and sports facilities provided by the college are good.
I did bachelor of commerce from Janki college. Overall, the academics was very good and even the teachers were amazing and helpful. Curriculum was also good and well-updated but it does not make you job-ready as hardly in India, no bachelors degree would make you job-ready.
Placements are way better than other colleges of DU. It is because there are very few colleges in India which provides placement to B. Com. (Hons.) students. At my time, the average package offered was around 2 lakhs per annum and highest package offered was around 4 lakhs per annum.
The infrastructure of campus is a matter of pride for the college as it is one of the most hygienic and green campuses of Delhi university and has secured 1st position in the university flower show. The campus comprises of 3 advanced computer labs, an open-air auditorium with a sitting capacity of 2000 people, classrooms with smart boards, 3 big sports ground, girls common room, seminar room, committee room, canteen (food is not so hygienic), mother dairy and a girls hostel for UG students.
I am perusing bcom hons from the college and the teachers are very good and helpful. The lectures are held regularly unlike most of the Delhi university colleges. There are 6 working days in this college with 4-6 lectures of 1 hour per day. The timetable also includes tutorials which is basically for doubt sessions and are very helpful for students. The college is a bit particular about attendance.
The college have a career opportunity cell which looks after the placement and career of the graduating students. They also give various opportunities for work from home internships in different companies. The average package of the job is around INR 3- 5 lakh per annum. Many big companies like EY, reliance, idea come for recruitment. The placements of are college are not very good though central university placements are always an option for Delhi university students.
I am perusing bcom hons from this college and my fees for the course is INR 16000 per annum which is a bit high from other Delhi university colleges but I believe that I am getting my money's worth as the crowd of my course is good and the campus is also very beautiful and well maintained. The college also have many societies by which there is overall personality development of students and students indulge in their favourite activities of all fields.
Janki Devi Memorial College is situated at Sir Ganga Ram Marg, New Delhi and is at a walking distance from karol bagh metro station which makes the college reachable from all parts of the city. As the college is on the main road and near metro station it is very safe. The karol bagh market is also at a walking distance from the college and CP is just 2 stations away from karol bagh metro station so you will always have places to hangout and reach your lectures on time.
This is a girl's colleg.
