Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College, Guwahati Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College women's Hostel of the college is presently under construction with the financial assistance of the UGC.

The Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College has a health centre with a student first aid facility. This facility can be availed by the students, staff and faculty members at affordable rates. 

The Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College has a well-equipped gymnasium on its premises which faculty members and students can use. A physical instructor has been appointed to instruct persons visiting the gym.

The Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College Library is well-equipped with text and reference books, an encyclopedia, and a good number of magazines, newspapers, and other periodicals. The student can access those, in the reading room of the Library. The Library cards are issued to the bona fide students of the college to borrow books from the library. The student will have to return the books within a fixed period, failing which, they will have to pay a fine. The book bank facility is also there for needy students.

For the students to participate in sports the Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College has very good physical facilities for sports and games.

The Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College has an air-conditioned Central Computer Centre with 20 sets of desktop computers and a high-speed broadband line provided by the State Government, Assam. Both students and faculty members use this facility to access the internet, download materials, scan and take print-outs of the materials of their interest and do other computer-based tasks. 

Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College Canteen services are available on the campus for K.R.B. Students, staff, and faculty members.

The College Auditorium was constructed with the assistance of the M.P Fund of Dr Manmohan Singh, present Prime Minister of India in July 2001. The seminars, college functions, and meetings are organized in the auditorium.

The whole campus of the Kamakhya Ram Borooah Girls College has been converted into a Wi-Fi campus, the advantage of which can be very fruitfully utilized by every member of the college.
