It's quite difficult to predict that whether you will get seat or not as cut off marks for medical colleges keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like number of students that appeared in the exam, kind of marks obtained by them , toughness level of the examination etc.

Since you didn't mention your category, I am assuming you are of general category. Also, since you did not mention if you have a domicile of Karnataka or not, I will say about both possibilities.

If you don't have a domicile of Karnataka, then you will have to register as an outside state student through KEA website. Now, as per previous year the cut off for first round was a rank of 13396 for private open seats in Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences. Based on this, you have little to no chance of getting a seat here.

If you have a domicile of Karnataka, then you will have to register as state student along with your domicile category, through KEA website. As per previous year the cut off for Kempegowda Institute of Medical Sciences for domiciled students was 437 marks for government seat and 457 marks for private seat. So if you have a domicile of Karnataka, you will surely get in this college.

Kempogowda medical college Bangalore is a well known institution for its education and facilities.

The seats are reserved under state quota and private seats.

The fee for private seats is around 6-7lakh per annum and the fee for government seats reserved for state students is around 60k per year.

The fee is less to encourage students to pursue medicine as their passion and thus all the facilities and equipments are provided.Hello,

To get a seat in KIMS for MBBS course through NEET the minimum criteria is to score of 50 percentile in NEET UG.

KEA which is Karnataka Examinations Authority will be conducting MBBS counselling for seat in KIMS.

KEA will invite applications from candidates those who have qualified NEET UG exam.

MBBS counselling process includes following stages:-

  • To participate in MBBS Counselling you need to register yourself on the official website of KEA.
  • You will be asked to pay the registration fees through various modes.
  • And after payment you will be receiving proper instructions from the concerned authorities regarding counselling sessions.
