Khurana Sawant Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hingoli, established quality technical education in Maharashtra. The institute does follow the common admission process established for engineering colleges in Maharashtra as a means of achieving fair and healthy competition in admitting candidates. It offers five B.Tech programmes in full time in various fields of engineering for a well rounded engineering education experience.

Admission usually occurs during the time the Maharashtra State has prescribed for Engineering, usually a month after the announcement of 12th standard results. Though dates normally change every year, in general, it normally occurs in May-June for an August-September academic intake.

For eligibility, the candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognized board with compulsory subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The aggregate percentage in the qualifying examination must be at least 50-55%. Candidates are also required to qualify for MHT-CET or JEE Main. Scores of MHT-CET or JEE Main are considered for admission to engineering courses in Maharashtra.

Application Process

Some general stages are as follows through which admission procedures are offered at KSIET B.Tech programs.

1. Qualified MHT-CET or JEE Main.

2. Application submitted through centralized admission process by CAP of CET cell, Maharashtra state.

3. Online application form submission with all details personal and academic.

4. Attach scanned copy of the required documents below

• 10th and 12th mark sheets
• MHT-CET/JEE Main scorecard
• Domicile certificate (for candidates from Maharashtra state).
• Caste certificate and validity (if applicable)
• Non-creamy layer certificate (for OBC candidates)
• Income certificate (if applying under EWS category)

5. Pay the application fee as decided by the state CET cell.

6. Attend the document verification as per the date released by the authority.

7. Wait for the merit list and seat allotment results.

8. In case a seat is allotted in KSIET, report to the institute for document verification and payment of fee within the specified time.

9. Complete admission formalities in KSIET which includes original document submission along with institute fee.

Degree Wise Admission Process

B.Tech: KSIET offers five B.Tech programs in Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. Admission is given with criteria following performances in MHT-CET or JEE Main conducted by the Maharashtra state CET cell after the centralized admission process. The candidate shall have 10+2 with Physics and Chemistry, along with Mathematics as the main criteria following the minimum eligibility of the state.
