The college infrastructure is fine benches and classrooms are good but washrooms need to be cleaned on a regular basis . Computers need to be maintained and better equipment’s are needed in the lab ac does not work properly.
I am studying B.om the syllabus is updated because of new education policy. New techniques of exam has been introduced. Professors are good they are very helpful. But some times this technique are not helpful.
There are not much placements of job in this college but third year students are offered internship programs. Also the college helps students with new business ideas with the help of ecell and riddl .
The fees for BCom degree is around 14000 per year. I think it is worth the money cause teaching faculty is good and campus is also good with many amenities. Also the experience is very good and mostly for the people who want to pursue professional courses like CA and CS.
The campus life here is really good there are so many activities to do in the campus. There are around 4 to 5 canteens in the campus with really good food . There places for students to sit and hangout with friends.
There are good benches and classroom but washrooms need to be cleaned more often. Computer lab needs to be maintained properly many of the computers don't work properly and there's connection problem.
I am b. Com student and quality of education is average the syllabus is up to date and includes all the recent developments. We do have an internship program for 3rd year students that will help them in future.
There is not much placement for jobs in our college. But there are internship programs for third year students it also helps innovative business ideas to come to life with programs like ecell and riddl.
The course cost 14000 per year and I feel that its worth it. With subjects like exell and tally that will help in the long run. Also subjects like IKS that will help knowing our culture and history better.
The campus life us good there are many things to do there are places to sit and hangout with friends there are many canteens in the campus who serve really good food. There are places for sport activities too.
The college infrastructure is fine but there are some things that needs to be maintained like computers and the labs sometimes have issue while working and the number of computers are not sufficient students have to share the computers sometimes. Library is good there are all kinds of books that you need and they properly maintain it.
I am studying b.com and the college has started NEP and we are the first batch the curriculum has been updated which will help us better for future jobs and help us more practically. The new education policy has also introduced us to new way of giving exams .
Don't rely on the college for the placement . This college does not have many placement opportunities but they give internship to people who are in need . The college mainly focuses on giving the proper education.
My course costed almost around 35000 to 40000 per year and I think it's worth because the college has a very good teaching faculty they are really helpful plus the teaching techniques has helped to know the content better and made it interesting.
The college campus is very good there are almost 4 to 5 canteens in the campus with really good food there's a sports club where you can get to show your talent there are many places in the campus where you can sit and hangout with your friends.
Earlier, I wanted to take admission in this college, no doubt college is great. The teaching department is excellent and very understanding, and even the college's environment is amazing. But I feel that they should at least organize one trip for the students so that will get a great college memory with teachers, friends and everyone...
The teaching staff is so understanding and amazing, we feel great when we get into the lectures..the teaching is so good at explaining the content and even if we get any doubts in any subject then teacher will explain for the multiple times..
As right now I am a student in 2nd year but I am sure after 3rd year will definitely get the placement..let's see what happens next because of getting placement we need to get the good grades and should be in decipline...
I must say that college campus is so big and even it's beautiful and even we can chill out at some places in college...
This college has great infrastructure, with spacious classrooms that create a good study environment, well-equipped labs for practical learning, and a quiet library filled with useful books and materials. The sports center is excellent, with various facilities that encourage students to stay active and healthy.
I am studying BCom because it's a field I’m interested in. The teaching facilities are good, with experienced faculty who explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is well-updated, covering the latest developments, including important computer programs and tools that are very helpful for the future.
As I am still pursuing my undergraduate degree, I don't have much information about the placement process yet. However, I hope to explore more about it as I progress in my studies and gain a clearer understanding of the opportunities available for graduates.
The BCom course in our college costs between 15k to 17k per year, which I believe is quite reasonable for the quality of education and facilities provided. The course offers valuable knowledge and practical skills that make it worth the investment, preparing students for future opportunities.
The campus is really big and beautiful, making it a nice place to be. You’ll enjoy spending time there. Everyone, including students and staff, is friendly and helpful, creating a great atmosphere for learning and making new friends.
The overall experience at the college has been excellent, not just because of the campus but also the quality of education. The classrooms are well-equipped, the faculty is supportive, and the curriculum is updated with the latest developments. It’s a great place for both learning and personal growth.
The college has a great infrastructure with multiple top notch facilities for the students. The campus is huge and very beautiful. It great IT labs, sports complex, a good canteen. The canteen is very hygienic and has tasty food.
The college provides great exposure to not just the course u have opted for but also various other new branches of subjects through their credit courses. This enables the students to gain knowledge in different aspects of the industry and be trained for the hurdles tk be faced in their career.
I have not much knowledge about the placements. As far as the seniors say the college provides great packages on the campus placements. The average packeage received by the students of the college were great amounts.
I honestly think the fees paid for Bcom as a second year student(i.e. ₹15000) was worth it in every aspect as the campus provides us with such great opportunities and facilities that ensure our comfort.
As a student i wish i could attend the college as much as possible but as i am pursuing CA as a course along side my degree it is not possible to attend everyday. The college has organised many exciting events for its students that take place throughout the year.
Its a huge university with many opportunities open for their students. The faculty is very supportive and they help the students with their concerns and queries. Overall the college is a good place that helps to shape your career in a good way with the assistance of professors.
Academics wise Somaiya offers alot of exposure to not only the course you have opted for but many other credit courses that help you gain knowledge necessary in the future. The college faculty is very good with the explainations and queey solving.
Since i still havent graduated im yet to know about the placements but as fas as i have heard from the seniors they offer good campus placements with great packages. The average packages received by the students were of good amount.
As a Second year student in Bcom it cost me around 15k this year. Yes i feel the money paid was worth it because of the experience that you get at the college, the knowledge they provide, as well as the exposure you get is worth the money paid.
I am pursuing CA along side my degree hence i dont attend the college much but there are many events that are exciting that the college conducts for its students.
All the necessary requirements are there in the college. The faculty is nice and experienced. The classrooms are big enough. There are several laboratories for various subjects including IT and commerce labs for commerce stream. The Wi-Fi and network availability is poor. There are projectors in all the classrooms and are used frequently. The washrooms and classrooms are always well maintained, clean and hygienic.
I'm currently a second year BCom student. The faculty is amazing, helpful and experienced. The syllabus is very much up to date and follows the NEP ours being the 1st batch with subjects like IKS, EVS and tally. Also claims internships for third year students.
Being a second-year student I'm not very sure about the placements, salaries and things like that. But they do offer internships for third year students and do have Ecell for students with good business plans.
This course caused me around Rs 16,0000 a year. And I would say it's pretty much worth the money with good faculty, classrooms and other facilities. The syllabus is pretty much up to date and useful.
The campus is really amazing and big with a lot of greenery and open space for students to roam around after lectures. There are several spots for students to sit and chat or for jamming sessions. The campus is very safe.

That’s it
The infrastructure is a bit old school but is good enough environment for studying. It has the biggest possible campus in Mumbai providing students free space to explore themselves in the educational environment.
The college provides you one of the best academic experience in and around Mumbai. The college has made a name for itself in this years because of its cultures and it promotes good quality given by well experienced faculty
They provide decent placements. The college placement cell helps you in every possible way to get you your deserved placement. Companies Like HDFC come for placement and with a decent enough package for a fresher.
Yes it is indeed.
The best thing about this college is it's campus.
Definitely a college to take admission in.
