KVK College of Pharmacy, Hyderabad Admission Process

KVK College of Pharmacy in Hyderabad is a well-established institution providing a wide variety of pharmaceutical courses. The college has a streamlined admission process. It is well planned to choose merit-carrying candidates for its doctoral, undergraduate, and postgraduate courses.

The admission process generally starts in the months leading to the academic year, which starts in August-September. Admission to undergraduate courses such as B.Pharma and Pharm.D is done on the basis of ranks secured in the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET), organized by the Telangana State Council of Higher Education. The test is generally held in late April or early May.

Minimum qualification for UG courses is 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as mandatory subjects. For PG, they should have a B.Pharma or equivalent degree from a recognized institution. Specific eligibility differs for different programmes and is described in the degree-wise admission process section.

Application Process

The application process at KVK College of Pharmacy is different with regards to different courses:

For Pharm.D and B.Pharma courses:

1. Take TS EAMCET exam conducted by Telangana State Council of Higher Education.
2. Seek the counseling process after the results of TS EAMCET are declared.
3. Choose KVK College of Pharmacy and desired course in the process of counseling.
4. Report at the college upon receipt of seat for document verification and admission formalities.

For M.Pharma courses:

1. Try GATE or GPAT or TS PGECET exam.
2. Apply for corresponding counseling procedure (GATE/GPAT/TS PGECET) after announcement of results.
3. Select KVK College of Pharmacy and preferred M.Pharma course in counseling.
4. In case of selection, report to the college to verify documents and finish the admissions process.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Pharma: B.Pharma course of KVK College of Pharmacy is sanctioned with the strength of 100. The admission will be according to the merit rank held at TS EAMCET. The students should pass 10+2 with Math, Physics, and Chemistry as prerequisite subjects.

Pharm.D: The college is providing 30 seats for the Pharm.D program. Similar to B.Pharma, admissions will be made considering the TS EAMCET rank. The criteria are similar to that of B.Pharma.

Pharm.D Post Baccalaureate: 10 seats are available in this course. Though there are no particular admission details mentioned, it is probable that students with a B.Pharma degree can opt for it.

M.Pharma: KVK College of Pharmacy provides different specializations in M.Pharma with 15 seats in every specialisation:

  • M.Pharma Management and Drug Regulatory Affairs
  • M.Pharma Industrial Pharmacy
  • M.Pharma Pharmaceutical Analysis and Quality Assurance
  • M.Pharma Pharmaceutics

Entrance to M.Pharma courses occurs on GATE, GPAT, or TS PGECET ranks. Candidates must have a degree in B.Pharma from a recognized university.

  • Mark sheets and 10th, 12th certificates
  • Postgraduate level degree certificate and mark sheets

kvk college of pharmacy is affiliated by JNTUH, it offers admission through eamcet exam score which conducts by telengana state council of technical education. ts eamcet form will be available on the month of march, 2020.
