Hey !

In order to pursue BA in English literature from Gargi College or Lady Shri Ram college, University of Delhi you don't have to give any entrance exam as admission is done through merit basis so it's important to score 95+ in 12th grade in order to get in, these are the best college in New Delhi so the cut offs for it are really high.

Hey,

In order to get admission in lady shri you need to qualify your 12th exams. The admissions are done mere on merit basis for admissions in ba English hons. You need to score good percentage in your boards (nearly 95-98% if being a general category student) in order get admission in the college.

I thought LSR had a UG entrance for selection process...I wish to try for history there! What do I need to do and study?

Hello Aspirant,
You have a wrong information about admission. There is no such exam for admission in under graduate course in history.
If you want admission, you can simply register, check cut off and if your marks match with cutoff, go for a documents verification.
Don't worry no exam is required for admission.

What r the total seats for masters in economics in LSR

Hello Ankita,

There are about 70 to 80 seats available in LSR for Masters in Economics.

Admission Process -

Merit or Direct: 50% of the total intake shall be filled by direct. Admission of the students of the University of Delhi only, on the basis of merit. This mode is not available to students from other Universities.

Entrance: Remaining 50% of the seats shall be filled through entrance examination and Interview /Group Discussion.

Is 3rd cut off expected in LSR in B.com honours?

Yes, the third cutoff will be released for B.Com Hons in LSR. However, chances for the general category are low. There will only be a reduction of around 0.5% even if the cutoff is not closed. For SC, ST and OBC candidates, the third cutoff is expected to go much lower for this course.

College Infrastructure

Lady Shriram is well known for its infrastructure. The red wall is emotions to all girls studied there . Lab is well maintained, library is good. It has a big campus , beautiful garden, well maintained canteen .

It is overall good. If you get admission, do take it.

College Infrastructure

LSR is known for its beautiful gardens. They are winning green cup every year. Classrooms don't have ACs and not so good auditorium as they have lack of funds. Classrooms are clean and they have huge 3 floored library. They have decent sports equipments but space is little less but good enough in comparison to other DU colleges.
