it is difficult to get admission in lady sri ram college or miranda house in 94.25% but through exrta curricular activities quota,you may get admission. if not these two, then definately a top college.

My friend wants admission in Lady Shri Ram College. She has 97.25% as her best four but one of the best four subject is Entrepreneurship.

The best four in the Delhi University depends upon the subject you want to seek admission in
the Delhi University. You can surely add Entrepreneurship in best four. However,first off be sure of your calling. Decide on what you want to study and then work accordingly.

its all comparative and besd upon your luck

barch provides higher packages than bsc but recquires lots of hard works as well as there is not so much demanding job opportunities in india (which is decreased in paste few years) but yes it provides highest packages .now if you want to do maths hons. then hansraj would be better than ladyshree ram as it has good ranking .if you chose maths then you can get teaching, civil or bank sector jobs . you should follow what is your passion as barch or bsc has its own ups and downs

(my view: i will chose bsc maths as there is more ups and downs in barch as compared to bsc ) please research job opportunities of your own)

I got 74% in 12 standard from medical , so can I get admission in UG journalism and mass communication in lady shri ram college

Hello Jaya,

If you h ave scored 74% from Medical, you may not be able to get an admission in Journalism UG Course from LSR, as cut-offs are far higher, and you would be at a disagvantage of 2.5% for changing your stream to Humanities.

I suggest you appear for the Journalism Entrance, or try for other colleges and universities. If you have appeared for IPU's Journalism, that would surely benefit you!

is the admissions for LSR (DU) COLLEGE shut?

Hello dear aspirant,
The registration process for UG courses in Delhi university has started from 30th May 2019 and for getting admission in LSR you have to fill the form of Delhi University. The admission process has just started and it would go about a month or 2.
So, Sit back and Relax and first of all fill the registration form for DU and wait for the subsequent cutoff lists to come.

Congratulations for scoring such good percentage.
Yes , you can very easily get admission in Lady Shree Ram college with this percentage for BA economics.
Last year cut off for BA economics was closed at 97.5%.

If you are an IAS aspirant, you would undoubtedly want to commence your IAS studies right from college. So, it would be prudent on your part to take up subjects that would aid your IAS preparation. You not only save time but also would have the extra mileage compared to candidates who would start these subjects afresh. This article discusses the best subject in BA for IAS.
Let us take a look at the subjects that are part of the UPSC syllabus.

General Studies I: History, Geography
General Studies II: Polity, Public Administration
General Studies III: Economics, Ecology, Environment, Science & Tech
General Studies IV: Ethics (Philosophy/Psychology)

As you see, most of them are humanities subjects. In your graduation, you could take up any of the above subjects like history, geography, political science, public administration, philosophy, etc. Economics is also recommended for those who are interested in it. You have a good probability of getting admission into Lady Shri Ram College of Delhi University as the cut offs are usually between 95%--99% . You need to calculate the percentage of your best four subjects taking into consideration the subjects you want to take for further studies i.e. english and psychology/sociology. Be very punctual for applying for admission and for presenting the documents required to secure your seats.

College Infrastructure

Lady Shriram is well known for its infrastructure. The red wall is emotions to all girls studied there . Lab is well maintained, library is good. It has a big campus , beautiful garden, well maintained canteen .

It is overall good. If you get admission, do take it.

College Infrastructure

LSR is known for its beautiful gardens. They are winning green cup every year. Classrooms don't have ACs and not so good auditorium as they have lack of funds. Classrooms are clean and they have huge 3 floored library. They have decent sports equipments but space is little less but good enough in comparison to other DU colleges.
