Late Kedari Redekar Ayurvedic Mahavidyalaya, Gadhinglaj is an elite Ayurvedic college that started imparting Ayurvedic education. The Central Council of Indian Medicine has sanctioned this college for admitting students into the undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The admissions at LKRAM are strictly on merit basis. The institute conducts a BAMS course along with 11 postgraduate MD courses in various streams of Ayurveda. For the BAMS program, candidates are admitted through their NEET scores. Those with good performance in NEET will be admitted for the 100 available seats in the course. The postgraduates' entrance is held based on two national level entrance tests - National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test for Post Graduate (NEET PG) and All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET).

Degree wise Admission Process

BAMS is the program in LKRAM for Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery, with a total intake of 100 seats. Admission through NEET followed by counseling will be taken. The total fees for the BAMS course amount to Rs 10,19,250.

MD Programs: LKRAM has offered 11 postgraduate MD programs in diverse specializations in Ayurveda. The entry to this course is done through NEET PG or AIAPGET scores. Some of the MD courses are given below.

• MD Kayachikitsa: 6 seats
• MD Shalakya Tantra: 6 seats; Fee is Rs 5,26,500
• MD Prasuti Avum Streeroga: 6 seats available. The fee amount is Rs 5,26,500.
• MD Panchakarma: 6 seats available
• MD Kaumarbhritya Balroga: 6 seats available
• MD Dravyaguna Vigyan: 6 seats available
• MD Rasashastra and Bhaishajya Kalpana: 5 seats available
• MD Rognidan and Vikriti Vigyan: 4 seats available

Candidates are screened on the entrance exam performance basis followed by subsequent counseling process.
