Laxmi Narayan Shukla Mahavidyalaya, Sultanpur Admission 2025: Dates, Registration, Fees, Eligibility

Laxmi Narayan Shukla Mahavidyalaya is an affiliated college situated in Khara Chandaur, Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The college follows a transparent and merit-based system concerning the admission for undergraduate programs. It provides two full-time courses namely B.A. (Bachelor of Arts) and B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce) each for three years.

Generally, the admission of the college starts after the declaration of the 10+2 results. Selection into the BA and B.Com programs is done on the basis of written examination organized around this time. These exams aim to test the academic capacity of applicants intending to further their studies into this college.

Any person who has completed 10+2 or an examination considered equivalent to it shall be fit for admission to these two courses of BA and B.Com. The strength of the college is 278 students in total, with 200 seats allotted to B.A., and 50 seats to B.Com.

2. Application Form: Application for admission is to be made by obtaining, filling out, and submitting the admission forms which are available most likely online on the college website or offline on the campus.

3. Submission of Document:Students attach all essential documents along with the duly filled admission application form. The documents to be supplied must include:

• Marticulation or 10+2 class mark sheet and migration certificate.   
• Character Certificate from the college last attended.
• Transfer Certificate wherever applicable,
• Caste Certificate, in case of students belonging to a reserved category.
• A few recent passport-size photographs.

4. The Written Examination: Eligible candidates will be required to take the written examination conducted by the college-which carries much emphasis in the entire selection procedure for BA and B.Com. programs.

5. Declaration of Merit List: On the basis of the written examination, the college shall prepare a merit list and notify the successful candidates accordingly.

6. Document Verification: The selected candidates called for verification of documents would be subjected to verifications of the original documents with the photocopies submitted.

7. Payment of Fees: After the verification of documents, candidates would have to deposit their admission fees to confirm their admission as per the time limits stipulated by the college.

Degree-wise Admission Process

B.A. (Bachelor of Arts): The purpose of the university is to provide a basic foundation in arts education. The candidate needs to qualify the 10+2 or any equivalent examination from a recognized board.

B.Com. (Bachelor of Commerce): The B.Com. course tries to inform student minds with commercial and business knowledge. Admission to B.Com. will also be through a written examination conducted by the college just like that for the BA. Thus, there are 50 seats for B.Com. Candidates must pass their 10+2 with an equivalent examination but those with commerce subjects are preferred.
