Laxmipati Institute of Science and Technology, Bhopal offers engineering and management programmes to students. The institute provides 3 degrees in 7 branches of engineering and management. These programmes are offered at different levels like diploma, UG and PG levels. The institute has 3 diploma programmes, these are- Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Electrical Engineering. The 5 UG courses under Bachelor of Engineering, spread over domains such as Computer Science and Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Electronics and Communications Engineering. There is also a PG level programme at the institute i.e., MBA. The courses are approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. A candidate may apply for any course of their choice provided they meet the eligibility criteria set by the institute. The duration of the polytechnic (diploma) courses is 3 years while that of the B.E course is 4 years, the MBA programme is 2 years long. The courses can be pursued in full-time, regular mode only.
