Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Mechanical Engineering is a four-year full-time undergraduate Course offered by M Kumarasamy College of Engineering, Karur recognized by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Anna University, Chennai.

Eligibility Criteria

Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry/ Biotechnology/ Biology/ Technical Vocational subject/ Computer Science/ Information Technology/ Informatics Practices/ Agriculture/ Engineering Graphics/ Business Studies. Obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) in the above subjects taken together. OR Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) subject to vacancies in the First Year, in case the vacancies at lateral entry are exhausted.

Admission Details

The selection based on the TNEA entrance exam.

College Infrastructure

As a student at MKCE, I can say that the college offers numerous facilities. One such facility is the "MIC PORTAL," where we document our weekly mentor sessions. During these sessions, we discuss various topics, and the updates are recorded on the portal. Additionally, mentors provide feedback based on these discussions.

Placement at MKCE is awesome.

College Infrastructure

In my college, we have good infrastructure. We have facilities like the BCM laboratory, which provides a dedicated space for creating prototypes. Students interested in working on projects with unique ideas can benefit greatly from these resources. Even I have used these materials for my project.

College Infrastructure

Our college has the average infrastructure. It's look like school feel. Necessary laboratories for all the departments are available. Limited wifi access is provided for students. Hostel food is not so worthy. But hostel rooms are maintained well and clean.
