Maa Mewati Tara Devi Institute of Girls Education, Mau Facilities Details: Hostel, Campus, Infrastructure, Library, Canteen

The college has sports facilities for all students, football, volleyball, hockey, badminton, kabaddi, kho-kho, cricket, basketball etc. in the college. The college also has a gymnasium for which proficient teachers in physical education have been appointed. This college is making proper arrangements of material for the physical development of students this year within its limited resources. 

The college has a library facility for all students, this college and has a collection of high quality books on various subjects of the Arts Faculty. Apart from this, daily newspapers, magazines, weekly, monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual magazines are available in sufficient numbers. Magazines are made available in the reading room. Books related to the subject are also provided for self-study. 

The college has a departmental-based laboratory facility for the students, fully equipped with the materials and equipment for practical subjects. Students who have opted for practical subjects can use the available equipment/experimental materials while doing experimental work with the permission of the department. The entire responsibility for any breakage of equipment/experimental materials during the experiment will be of the concerned student and in such a situation, the fine imposed by the head of the department will be compulsorily paid by the student. 

The college has an excellent IT Infrastructure facility for the students, There is a provision of computer teaching in the college, through which qualified and experienced students are given training in computer science. Interested students have to get admission by contacting the Computer Science Department. Internet facilities is also available in the college. 

A private transport facility is available in this college for the convenience of the students coming from far-off places, which is made available to the students coming from far-off places at a nominal fare. Note - No transport facility will be provided to the students studying within the 3-kilometer radius of the college campus. Transport facilities can be provided only if seats are vacant. In the event of the college vehicle breaking down, the students will have to come to the college by their vehicle. It will not be mandatory for the college to provide a transport facility if there are no vacant seats in the vehicle.
