Application Process

1. Admission Notification: This is commonly advertised by the institution on its official website and other newspaper and media portals.

2. Application Form: Candidates are expected to obtain and fill in the application forms. This will preferably also be available online on their college website or physical copies will be provided at the admission office itself.

3. Document Submission: Candidates must submit the application form along with the required documents:

• 10th, 12th, and graduation mark sheet for B.Ed candidates; 
• Valid ID; 
• Passport-size photographs; 
• Category certificate, 

4. Entrance Examination: For those candidates bound by a state policy, an entrance examination may be given. Dates and details of tests will be published in the college.

5. Merit List Preparation: Generation of the merit list from the marks in qualifying examinations and/or the entrance test marks.

6. Counseling and Seat Allocation: All candidates in the merit list are generally called for counseling, at which time their seats are allocated according to merit and preference.

7. Fee Payment: Selected candidates will be required to pay the fees prescribed to confirm their admission.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.Ed (Bachelor of Education): The B.Ed program at Maa Narmada College of Education is a two-year full-time course with an intake capacity of 100 students. Admission to the B.Ed program is based on merit determined by the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The selection of other means can also be adopted according to the policy of the State Government/U.T. Administration and affiliated University. This gives a broader perspective to ensure selection of candidates with best potential for becoming effective educators.

D.El.Ed (Diploma in Elementary Education): The D.El.Ed program is also a two-year full-time course with an intake of 100 students. Similar to the B.Ed program, admissions for D.El.Ed are made on merit basis. The merit is calculated based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination. The college follows the selection process as prescribed by the State Government/UT Administration. This program is designed to prepare teachers for elementary education, focusing on pedagogical skills and knowledge required for teaching at the primary and upper primary levels.
